eventually i'll have the N64 set, but it depends on what you count as "complete complete", I'm not grabbing any player's choice or other variants, except some special editions.

What was this thread originall about?

Oh yeah!
Another overpriced auction for complete*^'" sets

* - excluding many boxes
^ - excluding many manuals
' - missing multiple titles
" - some other addendum for potentially glaring omissions.

Yes he did

and Yes IZ - Its complete just need to upgrade some games... I am currently I think 13 away from a complete Saturn Set and 48 or so away from a Complete Licensed NES Set.

Also to touch on the actual topic I would purchase it if I had a loan..great start of stuff to open my store with and fill my collection ;-)

I'm still waiting on one of our members to completely complete a system set.

When was the last time that happened?
Mezmoron with PS2?
Before that....?

Wow...complete PS2?! That's a hefty set...weren't there approximately 1300 titles released?

Even more incredible...granted 500 of them are likely EA Sports releases.

Yes somewhere between 1800 and 1900 games.
AFAIK that number does not include demos, GH or Special Editions. I could be wrong on the later 2 but i doubt it.

If our database is anything to go by, 1829 "North American" PS2 releases that are set to "Original Release".

That, of course, means that anything labeled as "Canada" or "United States" is excluded (EDIT: Apparently we have 6 items listed as "United States". 1 "ORIGINAL RELEASE", which would make 1830. FIXING), as is anything not marked as "Original Release". There could, of course, be items marked as "Original Release" that inflate that number too, like Cheat Discs and other non-video game items.

That article's wrong. Always has been.
FIFA 14 was released September 27th. Pro Evolution Soccer 2014 never got released in the US, but it was released in November in Europe and Latin America.

EDIT: Wait, I don't think that even got a proper US release either... Here's the image I could find, and it's in Spanish only indicating a Latin America/South America release:
