anyone watching this massive ebay lot? what do you think about his asking price, i feel like it might be really high but i have no idea what a lot of the games listed go for. he's not selling complete sets or anything and a lot of stuff sounds like it's untested and not complete, plus low feedback...good luck buddy.

I'm not sure he's aware of what $35 grand is worth in videogames.

There isn't much quality in there. He is insane to think he'll get anywhere remotely close to that.

I don't know ... Item 88 Silent Service....

I'm sure he's aware that it is not worth that much but wants to see how much he can get out of the plastic gold rush that is retro games.

Speaking of ebay auctions and collections here's where Adol's/Andre's collection ended up:

Hey...I could just post a picture of my unorganized game room. Think I'd get more than him?

Nice, we are members of Strong Museum and their eGame Revolution area is full of games to play as well as games on display.  I think the International Center for the History of Electronic Games (http://www.icheg.org) is doing great work preserving all things video game related.  I would guess some will be dissapointed to learn that this collection (or any for that matter) ended up in a museum rather than in the hands of a collector but I am ok with it as long as museums like this don't start popping up in every city.

I agree there isn't a lot of gems in this lot if any. I didn't read game for game what's in the lot but from what I could see nothing fancy...

Mortal Kombat 3 (RARE)... Really?
Mappy Land (RARE) ....

Not my idea of rare lol

*YAWN* Not impressed. "Complete" sets, yet he admits that he excludes the most expensive games due to an arbitrary decision on what he considers "Complete". Certainly not worth $168,000.
Too many qualifications on his "sets" immediately disqualify it for me as well. "Main" Zelda set... STOP QUALIFYING THINGS AFTER HYPING IT UP.

I'm still waiting on one of our members to completely complete a system set.

When was the last time that happened?
Mezmoron with PS2?
Before that....?

Most recently, Crabmaster2000 for Licensed NES. Unlicensed technically will never be completed with the large number of homebrews being released. Before that, GamerNick with 32X.
