Find that demo disc (ps1)
«

So, for over ten years now I've been searching for a particular ps1 demo disc. I've tried my best google-fu and looked up the demo disc list on game-rave but no luck. The database hasn't been much help either. 1 because I don't know the exact date, just that it was before 2000, and 2 not all demo entries list the games that were on it. So I humbly ask you guys for any leads on it. Here's a list of what I remember was on it:
Medievil
A bust-a-move game
Wild 9
Crash warped
A trailer for a rugrats game(?)
If anyone can narrow it down or link me to some good resources that would be great
EDIT: Thanks to addicted! I'm 90% sure that's the one I had for a few days back when I was a small lad. Brave Fencer was that one game I played but was never sure which game it was. The menu music also rings a bell. Also, this thread is open for anyone looking to pinpoint a demo disc now. Thanks again.

PSM Demo 26 had Crash: Warped on it, the others do not sound familiar though...I hope that helps in the end...

Swap out the google-fu for some Shaq-fu and you will find it:
CD Interactive Sampler Disc #9

Rally Cross 2, Tomb Raiders, Wild 9, Bust a Move 4, Metal Gear Solid

Videos
Rugrats, Twisted Metal 3

Hmm. Is there anything physical that you remember about the disc, such as the color or any art? Do you remember if the disc was a system pack-in disc, a retail demo disc (such as a Jampack or something you could get from a store), a OPM demo disc, or maybe a Playstation Underground set of discs? Also, what did the selection screen look like? Was is a wall tiles that showed the content, or was it a single "one-at-a-time" demo/video selection?
EDIT: I might be too late. It looks like Addicted may have gotten it.

Just to hijack this thread, anyone know which demo disc(s) had the fish on the selection menu? I have a co-worker who used to work on these demos, and the fish one was something he was looking to re-acquire again since it was one of his best accomplishments from that time.

@Shadow: Are you talking about the Manta Ray tech demo or something different?

Presumably something different, but I'll show that to him. I think it was an OPM Demo Disc in the 20s range. The fish would school together and swim around the menu.

@Shadow: That puts it from May to Dec 1999. I may have to bring my PS1 out of retirement to find this...

@Shadow: Glad I could help. It's amazing how little information there is on the demo discs.
