I could not find a specific board for conventions, so I posted this here on the main board

http://corgs-con.webs.com/

Hey all!

If you live in Ohio or an adjacent state, CORGS (Columbus Ohio Retro Gaming Society) is holding their annual convention on May 31st. This show has grown exponentially over the years and now stuffs the largest ball room in the Fort Rapids hotel full of Retro Gaming goodness.

This is the home convention for our show, Now You're Playing with Podcast. One of our goals with our booth at the show is to help the convention grow from a mere swap meet to a more fully featured video gaming convention. Our booth at the show will have games for sale like the other booths, but we will also have a couple video game tournaments and we are looking to record a live episode of Now You're Playing with Podcast as well.

If you are in or near Ohio, CORGS is well worth the drive. Stop by our booth and say hello!

I wonder if our Cincinnati contingent would be interested.

Jesse from Arcade Legacy in Cincinnati was a vendor last year.  I'm not sure if he will be up again this year, but it's a possibility.

I had a fun time at CORGS-con yesterday, and would like to thank the Now You're Playing with Podcast folks for putting on a fun Jeopardy video-game themed contest. I was selected as a participant and cleaned house! I think they may include it on an upcoming episode, so check it out if you want to hear me dominate.

Wish I would have know about this earlier.  Columbus is just a bit more than 3 hours from me, but this is what I get for lurking the blogs as much as I do.  Oh, well.  I'll be there next year.

Also, Duke...  what happened to your karma, man?

Duke's karma inversely goes up with Flee's karma. Not quite sure how that works, but hey... it allows him to tap into his dark powers for Jeopardy.
Thanks for rocking the shirt Duke. Wink
