Virtual Reality is the next innovation from PlayStation! "Making games immersive has always been the goal of game creators"

I know nothing else yet.

EDIT
BWAHAHAHAHAHA

They just can't give up on that dumb ass light ball. Hopefully since those pics are so old they have solved that problem.

(I am literally copy pasting info as i get it lol)

"Project Morpheus" is not a final product, but a work-in-progress. It will be available to demo for GDC attendees tomorrow

Definitely much better looking. I'm assuming it will be even more streamlined before release. I am also guessing it will cost as much as a console.

^Yeah, indeed.

It'll be interesting to see how this goes (or not), due to the failure of VR gaming in the 1990s, as the Sega Virtual World for either the Genesis or CD (I forget which it was) ended up never being released.  There were a few other units, one of which I saw at the short-lived mega computer store of Incredible Universe (for $5 a play), along with at least one arcade unit that I saw at a gaming expo once (not working though).

Again, it'll be interesting to see how this works (or not, again) this time around, due to the failure of these to catch on the first time around.

Facebook bought the company making the Occulous Rift which to my knowledge has nothing at all to do with the development of the piece of hardware sony is making....

For whatever it's worth, Sony has actually been making head-mounted displays for quite some time now.

None of them have managed to catch on... but they actually have FAR more experience in this area than the oculus rift guys have.
