Nice Zaxcon, board game. I have been wanting to pick up that game for awhile now. I am flirting with the idea of trying to pick up video game related board games.

God, I hate you. Been looking to get the
Zaxxon
board game for some time now.
Hey, wait a minute... is that a lightsaber-wielding prequel-Yoda Infinity figure? Okay, now you're dead to me. I dunno what it is, but Yoda actually using a lightsaber just seems wrong to me. Yeah, I know, it's the standard armament for Jedi knights and masters, but... it just doesn't sit well with me in ol' greenie's case.
My attitude about this likely stems from the scene in
Empire
where Luke heads into the cave:

I recently fdropped eight bucks on this interesting Japanese toy robot thingy:

A not-quite-complete boxed BanDai
Soul of Chogokin
MX-27 GaiKing robot action figure with display stand. It's one of those highly customizable deals with quite a few Revoltech-like ball joints for great poseability, and possesses a surprisingly high degree of die-cast metal. The 'bot itself looks like a transitional model between Gigantor and Mazinger-Z, don'cha think? He's kinda Satanic-looking, too...

Although the box isn't in top condition, all the robot parts are nearly perfect. The only thing it's missing is part of the display stand... which, considering its asking price being up to $200 brand-new, probably isn't worth crying over.

Anybody ever heard of an early-90s toy line called
Snailiens
? Yeah, me neither. None the less, I decided to pick up this "supersonic shell fighter:"

Picked up a nearly brand-new
Battleground
War Chest starter set and Tower Attack expansion set. While the boxes sport a little wear, the items inside are still wrapped.

Pretty sweet games. I want a vintage set of Crossbows & Catapults, as I remember playing with my cousin's set, as a kid.
