Four new games officially announced!

Persona Q: Shadows of the Labyrinth - 3DS in Japan on 06/05/2014.

Persona 4 Arena 2 (aka The Ultimax Ultra Suplex Hold) - PS3 in Japan 2014.

Persona 4 Dancing All Night - PSVita in Japan 2014. Sega's influence on Atlus can be felt already.

And the one most everyone cares about *drumroll*

PERSONA 5 JAPAN 2014

One of my main reasons for buying a PS3 was that Persona 5 would *probably* be released on it.  I am so happy to finally have it announced!!

I should really pick up P4 on Vita and give that a shot.

You should. It's easily the best reason to own a PSVita still, other than Gravity Rush and possibly Soul Sacrifice. And IIRC it's only $20 right now on PSN. Cheesy

Would it be the best one to jump into? I bought a Vita for Uncharted Wink

Unless you're willing to go track down a copy of Persona 4 for the PS2, Persona 4 Golden is pretty much the definitive version of that particular game with all the added content to it. It was the first game as well as the first Limited Edition (Solid Gold Edition, whoo!) I bought for the Vita last year. It takes roughly around 90-100 hours to finish, so it will keep you busy until next year. Word of warning: Completion requires 2 playthroughs.

Unless of course, you're not into Japanese anime RPGs with high schoolers and dating sim elements in it. But messing with Persona fusions is fun. Wink

If you're one of those people who prefer physical to digital copies, Atlus is having a big sale on most of their games this Black Friday week. This applies to in-store retailers as well as digital copies on PSN. Dragon's Crown is now $30 for both PS3 and PSVita versions, and Persona 4 Golden is $20. Here's a link to amazon for Persona 4 Golden:
