3 day road trip, helping my friend who does removals, we had to move a familys furniture to Ireland, after doing some other small jobs.
Eventful ferry crossing. Rough sea, broken engine, left waiting for 2 hours outside harbour. As we were freight, not passengers, we got free food and shit in the truckers lounge anyway, but the delay was cool, as I could watch all of the football match on sky t.v There was a modern arcade classics coctail cabiner there too. If these are the same ones that cost £1,500 new, I might just save up for one.
Arrived in Dublin at midning, crashed on the floor of the empty house, got up at 7am, worked fast to unload the truck by 12:30pm, and get into town by 1pm on St.patricks day.

Had a few pints of guiness, and some great food, then it was time to go,. Filled up the tanks on cheap diesel, bought some whiskey on the ferry which we got at 4pm, got to Holyhead in Wales and left the terminal at around 6pm , and then a 6 hour drive back after the crossing.
Dublin is a fine city, we were made to feel very welcome by the bar staff, and everyone we met. Even the police were nice to us. ,
Pictures to follow.
