As far as your wishlist goes, Be as specific as you want or as general as you want.  Say things like:

I would like any NES carts not already in my collection

or

I would love to get some spare controllers for NES, SNES, Genesis, or Saturn.

or

I would really like to get any of the following NES games: x, x, x, x, x, x, x, x, x, x, x, x, etc.

Just to clarify...the more specific you are, the less likely it may be that you get something you want (and less items that you may end up with). Giving Santa more choices often results in higher quality gifts. ^.^

when i do it i usually put 2 or 3 very specifiic things in and then something really general too, that way both sides of it are covered
