Started grinding out the last of Ascend: Hand of Kul the other day.

I was going to hold out in the hopes of the patch that is supposedly forth coming with the new Badlands area and co-op. But then i saw them mention that the game is still technically a beta and decided those 3 gigs could be better used by having other games cycle on and off my hard drive.

I started playing God of War: Ascension.  So far, so meh.  Everything about it seems so unpolished, especially after the incredible presentation of God of War III.  I haven't played the multiplayer yet (I don't have the online pass), but I can already tell this will likely be my least favorite God of War game.

I hate how these forums will either randomly decide to not inform me when there is a new post or otherwise not load when I'm sent a link.

In any case, working on Final Fantasy 13 again. I beat it a while back, but I'm interested in getting the platinum. Wanna do that for 13-2 as well before I move on to Lightening Returns.

I'm working on 13-2 at the moment, if you've beaten it can you tell me if it gets any better? i've gotten to the point where you get that quest from Hope in 400 to find the graviton cores, been working on those as well as a bunch of side quests. i really enjoyed the story and characters in 13, but 13-2 just isn't grabbing me. the characters are bland and the story is pretty stupid honestly. the only thing keeping me going is that the gameplay is vastly better than it was in 13.

I've only done a little of 13-2. It's pretty much a "what you see is what you get" kinda game. I noticed right off the top that it had the same issues 10-2 and whatever the 12 squeal was called had. Namely, the characters are all annoying as hell and not compelling in the least. That's....just the game. :/

Ascend.
Made it to level 45. Once i hit 50 i can ascend again.
Then i have to level back up from 42 to 55 and ascend then level from 47 back up to 60 and finally transcend for the win.

More Ascend.
I ascended at 50. I think i leveled back up to 48 before swapping over to...

Final Exam.
Cleared the game on easy peasy difficulty with 2 others. Grabbed all the collectables to max out character stats. Completing it also unlocked the hardest difficulty which we will need to play through again on now.
Also need to get gold medal score on all stages still.

Just completed bioshock infinite (PC), my poor abused graphics card can take a rest now, at least until the DLC is on steam sale anyway.

Started Final Fantasy XIII-III last night. Granted, I only played for about an hour, but my initial reactions weren't great. I'll be able to devote more time to it tonight, so hopefully getting through the tutorial battles will help to make it feel less like a dull hack-n-slash and more like an RPG.
