I put more time into NFS: Rivals today. I finished the cop career, and I'm now working on getting all 60 cop ranks.
I got the platinum in Resogun today. It was not as hard to get as I initially thought.

I finally put down GTA V and started playing Witcher 2. I'm having a really hard time getting into it.

I had that trouble with the first one. Just didn't seem that exceptional or even interesting to me.

3 challenges in each of the 20 "ranks". So, you have to go back and complete the other 2 challenges you didn't do on your initial playthrough.

Still going through Story and Another Story Mode in Aquapazza for PS3. I find myself enjoying this more than I should. Now I kinda want to play Tears to Tiara, but I'll probably have to settle for the PS3 version, the PC version is damn near impossible to find.

A friend stayed here this last weekend. We played a couple Intellivision games.
Utopia is pretty fun. I really like the mix of strategy and luck. We only played a couple games but I can see playing this more.
AD&D The Treasure of Tarmin was great. We actually beat the game. It is a RPG that plays like a turn based Wolfenstein 3D. I was amazed at the 3D mazes, it is on the Intellivision after all. We even got out the pencil and graph paper to draw maps. How fun is that?

Also went through my PC collection and pulled out a couple old games to try. Wizardry VII: Crusaders of the Dark Savant comes on 3.5" disc's and is really hard to load up on a 64bit Windows 8 machine when five of the files are corrupted. My friend found the game on an abandonware site and installed it on his laptop, he told me I should just swap out the 5 files (out of a couple hundred) I couldn't get off my disc's
So after spending hours on that, we played some Majesty. It's like Age of Empires (the RTS game) but you don't directly control your peoples. You can set bounties on enemies and points on the map to incentivise characters, otherwise they pretty much just go about their jobs. Explorers explore, fighters fight and tax collectors bring in money. You are in charge of major structures, but not minor ones, and upgrades and the use of magic. Kinda weird to play a RTS were you don't get to boss characters around and tell them where to go.
But, yay! to beating the Treasure of Tarmin.

Soooo much AoEO.
Got the Sphinx. Library of Pergamum is the last random drop building I need. Probably should start ranking my other civs or working on on Crete tomorrow...
I believe I will have enough points in 2 days to buy the Celt civ too so j can start knocking their missions out too

I've played it on and off for years and its a pretty fun experience. Your units are hero units that level up as they do things, so a ranger explores and gets a bit of experience for exploring, a warrior kills things for experience, and rogues steal things for experience. Wizards kick ass after roughly level 5, until then they die a lot.
Anyway, the HD remake is $4 on Steam's Autumn Sale right now if anybody else wants to try it.

Yeah, it seems like a good mix of fun stuff with enough originality to keep a RTS player entertained.

Finished up all of Dragon Age: Origins last night, including all DLC. Overall I like this game a lot, and everyone probably knows that I am a big BioWare fan. On to Dragon Age II!

Only being a bit of the way into Dragon Age II, I can say that's it's sadly not as good as Origins, but still a decent game in it's own right. Really wish there was a collected edition with all the DLC, but that doesn't seem like it's going to happen.
