Finally, after a very long wait the Pier Solar Reprint arrived at my door. Strategy guides Dreamcast copies of the game are being printing right now (so says the Watermelon website).

Hey now,

Don't misunderstand my words here, but I wonder about us, Zag...First, it was the NERF guns and Transformers, then I noticed it with Slurpee day last year when we both got a little more than the average joe, then you hit 2600 and 2700 games respectively just days before I hit the same marks, and now I get my first 3DO game just about a week before you get yours...are we some kind of spiritual twin?

I think you might have misunderstood me a bit: I recently hit 2700 overall pieces in my collection... both software AND hardware, not just games. Also, I already had a couple 3DO games when I found those other ones, only they weren't CIB. But other than that... MIND BLOWN.

While I don't believe it is personally anything more than coincidence, I do believe that we probably share a lot more in common than what I have seen above and am looking forward to the next thing that I notice. Smiley

Well, if you're really fortunate, you might notice one of these...

...a complete boxed Electronic Mastermind handheld, which set me back a mere $2.50.

Damn, I can't believe how cherry this bad boy is...

I had a blast trying to 100% it. And now there will be a mini game added when the Toad Amiibo comes out.

I still have quite a few more pick-ups to post, but wanted to get this one out there for now.  Traded an extra PS2 & XBox and a few games for this bad boy locally.  Apparently it was her grandfather's.  Ugh, I feel old.  And it was maxed out with a whopping 48K of RAM!

Anyone have any extra games to trade/sell?

Found these in Poundland (everything is £1 there).

Still sealed... They'll be staying that way too. Tongue

Decided to look in the window of a charity shop before I got on the bus and saw this:

Let me just check the receipt... £35 for a PS2 with a controller, two Memory cards and 22 games. Not too bad.
Hold on a minute. 22 games? I only count 17. That's all the games they had! Ah s***! grrr
Hmm... is it worth trying to get some money back?

The Die Hard Trilogy PS1 game in one of the above photos was actually from a different charity shop for 95p.

I wonder... were they counting the controller, memory cards and the cables as games? It would certainly equal 22 then... Undecided
I might not keep some of the PS2 games but knowing me, I'll probably end up keeping them all.
I'll clean the console and controller outdoors and test it tomorrow. They're dirty. yuck

EDIT: I forgot to post this on Saturday. My Dad gave this to me.

Picked this up this week. Box isn't perfect but I've been wanting this box since I started collecting. I've had the cart and instr for a long time. Plus this has Mikes letter which is hard to come by.
MTPO has always been one of my favorite games.

another somewhat expensive N64 game knocked off my list! ordered the manual for this one separately and it arrived as i started typing this post. even including shipping this one was a few dollars under the maximum i was willing to pay, and it's in pretty good shape for me.

50 Cent Blood on the Sand - CIB - $8.60 USD (paid $11 CAD)
Battle Zone Rise of the Black Dogs - CIB - $65 USD (paid $83 CAD, before shipping.)

Went back to the charity shop I got the PS2 lot from to see about the 5 missing games.
They couldn't find them anywhere, so I got £2.50 back. Not as much as I had hoped for, but at least it's something... Undecided

On the way there I stopped in Cash Converters and spotted this for £12.99. Hopefully it'll read games better than my current one does.
They also had a standard black one there for £14.99.

Also picked this up from a charity shop for 99p.
