Yes, there are still some great Craigslist finds, cverz2.  Nice pick-up.

Here are my recents.

So, the girlfriend has been killing the streak... in a great way.  I've mentioned multiple times that, other than from RFGeneration members, I had never in my life received video games or gaming "stuff" as gifts, so I - as a kid and then now - had to build my collection myself.  This excludes the original family Atari 2600 in '82 that wasn't really mine anyway.  I didn't get a Nintendo for Christmas as a kid.  I bought mine with my allowance.  Games weren't under the tree back then.  But lately I've acquired Mario shirts and other small goodies.  Then my birthday rolled around:

Little did she know that I already had Chrono Trigger (Complete with all the paperwork) on the SFC, so I am willing to trade this for something I need.

It turns out that she also played E.T. as a kid but, unlike me, it drove her crazy.

And here are the rest of my pick-ups.

Thift Stores and CDWorld's closeout sales where everything was 70% off:

The GBA games are sealed and about $3 each.

A BUNCH of Doom expansion discs.  ROCK!

A few months ago, my Atari 7800 (my first ever personal console) would not power on when I wanted to play a game.  I posted a Craigslist ad, asking if anyone locally had a power adapter I could borrow to determine if it was console or adapter.  I heard no response for quite some time.  Then a nice gentleman that had just begun collecting (and is now a member of RFGeneration) offered to let me use his adapter to test.  It turns out that my console was fine, and he traded me for his adapter so I can fire the beast back up.  This led to some nice trades between us, and I'm sure many more in the future.  Many went to another local collector, but these are mine:

I've already posted this one.

Disgaea 2 came from one of our tech interns, since I replaced some Pokemon batteries for him.

Zag Man is into calculators, and I like classic PDAs.  A workmate gave me his old iPAQ with numerous accessories (some still in boxes), then the very next evening I found the First and Second Edition guides at a thrift store for $0.75 each.

IN CASE I BORED ANYONE, HERE COMES THE GOOD STUFF!  COME ONE, COME ALL!

Another awesome purchase from senseiman.  The cables are still attached to the game room TV, but the Famicom looks great!

AND FINALLY, Craigslist did me well once again.  I'll try to shorten the story, but a guy posted an Intellivision II lot for $100, but called it an Atari.  I sent him a "tip" text to help him sell and let him know the true console.  We chatted a bit.  He also had a NES lot listed that he eBay priced (and also listed) at $450.  I told him that I could only offer $200, without knowing more.  He accepted and we met 30 miles up the highway.  He also sold the Intellivision II lot to me for $20, since he couldn't find the cables.  So, this is what $220 got me.

Games on the left are Cart & Box, and LoZ looks very nice.  To the right (he didn't show in the ad posting because he didn't think the empty boxes mattered) boxes, foam, dustcovers, and many original NES black box posters.

And...

A NES Deluxe Set without the box but many solid NES titles (excluding Golgo 13).  A low numbered NES that works great and R.O.B. with accessories.  I finally found a R.O.B. locally, although the seller mentioned everything came from a repo in Las Vegas. Maybe I will set him next to me during my next poker tournament.

ME: Should I go all in, R.O.B.?  I have A & 8, off suit.
R.O.B.: Dead man's hand possible.  Fold.
ME: This is Hold-Em.  That is extremely rare that there will be two aces on the table.
R.O.B.: Take your chances, Punk.  I'll be in the living room, watching Storage Wars.
ME: Sure, to tell yourself that a NES-001 is worth $14,000 right?  Good luck with that.
R.O.B.: Good luck with your measly $10 buy-in, big spender.
ME: Screw you, R.O.B.!

@ Techie   You should play Treasure of Tarmin on the INTV if you get cables for it, it's a great game.

I have another working INTV II and plan to start firing up all the games this weekend, but I'll give that one some extra attention.

Oh yeah, the games they have for sale are being sold at ridiculous prices, here as well. I rarely buy games from them unless they make a mistake on pricing.  Magazines are like .99 at the one I go to. I have found some decent stuff there though, I bought a CIB Sega Master System from there for like 20.00.  One of my best finds ever.  I agree with you though, most of the time overpriced.

Well I can't hold a candle to Techie's grabs (amazing), I did pick a few thing up recently:

These all came from the local GameXchange, and they gave me a nice deal on them.

These I picked up from RetroUSB. Just a heads up for anyone interested, Ultimate Frogger Champion is almost gone, and  will be discontinued according to the developer, and I expect the same will happen to Vs Super Mario Bros. when it is gone. There are around 3 of each left on their site.
