Had to go to Walmart tonight and thought I would look for an amiibo while I was there. NOTHING but 2 Kirby.  So stopped by Gamestop on the way back home and they had 1 new amiibo. So I snatched it up.  This is the main one that I wanted in this series along with mega man.
Stupid Gamestop sticker peeled off funky.  Oh well this is going to opened anyway.

I got mine too. No pictures from me though since my phone's camera stopped, but I have Rosalina in hand and Bowser, Shiek, and Toon Link on the way from Amazon.

Bowser seems to be pretty common from what I can assess with how many are around, but Shiek and Toon link went like hotcakes this morning at Target.

I went in day one looking for a Shulk amiibo - one store had pre-sold out in November, another had 2 incoming models and 7 pre-orders yet to fill.

To celebrate my first successful month of not spending any actual out of pocket money on video games in 2015 (it has been super easy, I've been in getting rid of stuff mode anyway. This will be more of a challenge when the weather gets nicer and garage sale/flea market season heats up) I celebrated by grabbing these at Gamestop with gift card credit. Mugen Souls Z was surprisingly cheap (12.99) for a recent NIS PS3 title. They tend to hold their value for a while at GS. Must be the generational change. These kind of games are my bread and butter so it's good to see GS not holding them for ransom so much all of a sudden.

I went to get my pre-ordered Shulk Amiibo on February 1 (which was the date Gamestop told me to go in), and I was informed that they had received no shipments of any of the new Amiibos. I'm a bit concerned that either A) Gamestop sold their pre-orders and lied to me...or B) Nintendo didn't make enough to meet the pre-order demand.

I bought an NES lot of games from a super sketchy guy at his super sketchy house over the weekend. When I got home, I realized he'd left one of the games out. He told me to come grab it.

So, yesterday I went over there, and he opened the window and handed it out and asked if I wanted to buy any of his other games....I saw Zen Intergalactic Soldier in there, which he said was one of his favorites and he wouldn't sell it (he said he'd sell any of the others for $5). I offered $10, and sketchy dude took the offer. I now have a nice, mint condition copy. Very pumped....albeit moreso rejoiced that I was not murdered.
