My sister was walking to school this morning when she came across these being thrown out:

Mum received a text from her saying that they were there. Mum soon woke me up and we both rushed out to pick them up (it was bin collection day).
Remember
that TV I found a few days ago?
I decided to use that to test the consoles and the TV itself. I did it outside just in case they caught fire or something...

It works and so do the PS2s (sort of...)!
At first, the remote wasn't working. Pointing the remote at a camera revealed that the IR LED was constantly on.
I tried taking it apart, but couldn't figure out how so I smacked it against the floor. Amazingly, that fixed the problem!
Was the TV really thrown out because of a stuck remote?
The TV does have quite a few dead pixels scattered all over it, but not enough that it's too noticeable.
The PS2s however, do not read discs at all. One attempts to read but gives a disk read error and the other one says "Reading disc..." then that disappears and nothing happens.
They both have problems ejecting the tray, and both had a disc inside them

I put them in paper sleeves for protection.
Not bad for free.
