Damn, with this one, the one Zag sent to leej07 for Not-So-Secret-Santa, and the one I found for eight bucks, it's kinda been a Dreamcast sorta month around here.

Took advantage of a GS coupon I got in my email yesterday for used PS3/360 games B2G1 free. Grabbed Bayonetta, Catherine, and The Last of Us for my PS3.

Catherine is an excellent game. Dark and story-driven, which is quite unusual for a platformer/puzzle game. Sadly, I never finished it. I moved on to other games about halfway through, as I'm so apt to do. ADD is a powerful detriment to finishing games. Let me tell ya.

I've been tempted to buy this before, but I finally have it. Nothing special.

Got Pocky & Rocky 2 today. I decided to remove the MACS stuff from my list. Therefore, 13 SNES to go...

So here's some stuff I picked up weeks ago.  This is so easy, why does it take me so long to post this stuff?

So this is a dark picture.  Next time I should turn my flash on.  It's just some random things and a Mario Kart wall cling that I picked up for $3.  I tried to put it on my wall and it started to rip, so it looks like it's staying in it's case.

Random PC games/ one Leapster game I picked up from thrifts and Gamestop.  The Bureau and Dishonored were both $2.  Pretty snazzy.

I picked this up on Black Friday from Best Buy for $30 because I desperately wanted to play it.  It's still in the shrinkwrap  Tongue

And this I got from Disc Replay for $10.  It was 100% complete and totally bad-ass.

More coming soon...

And here's the rest of the stuff I picked up before Christmas

Most of this stuff was $1 or under from Amazon Warehouse Deals.  Apparently I decided Dishonored and The Bureau should be in 2 pictures for some reason.  The two Civilization games were also 2 bucks from Gamestop.  I got Ground Zeroes from K-Mart for $5.  I figure I can blow through that in 2 or 3 hours and get my moneys worth.  My favorite thing in this picture is the Gamepro VHS.  I LOVE these old tips and tricks videos from the 80's and 90's.  One of these days I should really go onto Ebay and buy all of them that I don't have already.  They can't sell for more than a dollar or two, can they?

Once again, these are mostly from AWD, but these were under $3 with only a handful under a dollar.  Apparently I decided that Ceville and Tropico Reloaded also needed to be in two pictures.  Whatever, they were $1 a piece at Micro Center.  Ratchet and Clank and Commander and Conquer were the only thrift store pick ups.  I used almost all of my thrifting time going Christmas shopping, so I haven't hit one in weeks.  I'll probably head out New Years Day, though I'm sure they'll be packed.

And now I'm relatively up to date!  I still have stuff I've picked up for Christmas and the days after, but I haven't grabbed pictures of those yet.

Got a package from Zagnorch as a nice Christmas gift. Arrived after Christmas but that doesn't matter cause it's awesome.  He sent me some Sonic goodies such as plushes and comics and even a Sega Pocket Adventure: Amazing Sonic handheld game Ive never heard of before. Thank you Mr. Norch, you da man! Also I should tell you all that Shadow Plush is really creeping me out.

Also as a small personal score of my own I picked up a ColecoVision Flashback plug 'n play system and Sonic Adventure International.

I don't think EmoGayTails will take kindly to your thoughts on Shadow.

ANYway, time to show off my last small scores of 2014:

- I took advantage of a G*meSt*p gift card and their B2G1 used game offer, and grabbed TransFormers: Fall of Cybertron and Splatterhouse for PS3, as well as Deadly Creatures for the Wii. Mr. Crabs' "Unloved" blog on Deadly Creatures got me interested in giving it a try, and now I have that opportunity.

As for the Splatterhouse game: I didn't realize until I got home that it was the PAL-region release.

I've decided to keep it anyway. You never know, I just might stumble across a PAL PS3 while on one of my thrift hunts.

- CIB Spice World for PS1: Super-cheapie that I picked up just for the hell of it.

- CIB Command & Conquer Collection for PC: still has the original $19.99 price tag from CompUSA. I love finding stuff with price tags from defunct retailers still attached to them; it really adds to the nostalgia factor.

- And of course I took advantage of another gift card, this time from target, and picked up a couple Skylanders Trap Team figures, including the magic-element trap master Blaster Mind and the Small Fry / Weeruptor mini 2-pack.

- Xenosaga Epidoe I and Myst guides

- CIB My SAT Coach for DS: Ivy Leagues, here I come!

- CIB SOCOM Confrontation for PS3

- Panasonic cassette player/recorder

Aaand that wraps up my year of small scores. I wonder what tomorrow-- and the rest of 2015-- will bring? Whatever it is, you'll be the first to see it right here.

Until then...

@Zag - Did you try Splatterhouse? A lot of PS3 games aren't region locked. It may work, and it is a fun game.
