My Secret Santa score this year. WOW!!!! I am super impressed and appreciative of the generosity. Whoever it was, knocked quite a few titles off of my wishlist. Many, many thanks.

I got a couple of gift cards for Christmas yesterday, so naturally I spent them on video games:

The Space Shuttle Project, Jeopardy!, and Star Control all came from Gaming Grounds, while the South Park: The Stick Of Truth came from Hastings (Yep, we still have one of those around here.
) Except for the obvious Space Shuttle Project, they are all CIB and in good shape.
The Star Control is especially interesting to me, as I had never seen but one unlicensed Sega Genesis game out in the wild, which is my copy of Cosmic Spacehead. The box is also like a big-box PC game, except about maybe half the size. The most interesting part to me, though was these game info cards, for not only Star Control, but for 3 other games made by Accolade/Ballistic:

That picture they used for Turrican is especially epic:

Let that expression burn itself into your soul...

I received so many wonderful gifts for Christmas, including an awesome package from my Secret Santa here on rfgeneration. I wanted to make a pick ups and thank you video to show it off. If you'd like to take a look at what all I received, feel free to head over to my YouTube channel, GamingEsquire, to check it out.
I was going to post pictures on here, but I received so much that it was easier just to film it. I hope that's all right.

Hey all! Hope everyone had a great holiday! Today my brother went out with my mom to some thrift stores while I am at home nursing a bad back and my knee is swollen to the size of an watermelon it feels like. Well here was his take today - spent less than $10.00 on everything you see.
PC Games -
*Beast Within, The - CIB
*Black Dahlia - CIB
*Deus Ex - Game of The Year Edition - CIB
*Sherlock Holmes Chronicles - Brand New Sealed
*Sim City 2000 - CIB - Windows 3.1/Windows 95 Edition
*Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic - Game of The Year Edition - CIB
*Tiger Handheld - Family Feud

ALSO Sorry no pictures but I got a package from our Very Own Disposed Hero THANKS SO MUCH!! I got Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne and Sorcery Saga - For the Shin Set I will not include Persona 3 FES because I have the original release of Persona 3 so in my own little world I now have all of the Shin Games for PS2...eventually I will get Persona 3 FES if anyone has a copy I'd gladly buy one.

I hit the sales hard over the last few days.
Ignore the blacked out name(it's shobonimaster) I just used that screenshot somewhere else I didn't want to post my steam ID.

That's a cool way to show Steam scores. So cool, in fact...

Only thing I've picked up in the holiday sale so far. Combination of already owning almost everything that I want and The games I really want to buy are still a little pricey, even with the discounts.
Nupoile sent me a Steam gift that was on my wishlist. PAC Man Anniversary. I have this game on 360 and love it. Happy to have a Steam copy to play wherever there is a PC. Thanks, Poile!

^ You're welcome Bil. Everyone should have Pac Man available at all times.
Ironically, I was going through some stuff my mom gave us for Christmas today and found this:

A 1982 button. The sticker on the back says it was from Hallmark and was $1.00
I still need to get up some pictures of stuff Zag sent me for Christmas....

Christmas post!
MKII is classic and such a great port for the SNES.
I loved Joe and Mac for the arcade, but from what I hear it's pretty different on the SNES.
Super Ghouls and Ghosts is one I've had my eye on for a long time.

I sold Yoshi's Island a couple years ago and I regretted it ever since. I'm glad I got it back.
Earthworm Jim is ok on the SNES, but personally I think it's the best on Genesis.

Closing in on the Ultra subset already with these three. I forgot how damn frustrating Q*Berts' controls were. Still haven't played Gyruss.
