Hey all wow two posts in a row for me...literally. Well got a package today not the one from Japan I have been hoping for from Senseiman which is weird because Bill (engel762) already got his and we live in the same city. But anyways our other very own WildBil sent me a package of goodies! My brother loves the Big Box PC Games and really was excited to see the ones he got from Bil and he also threw in some other bonus items! Thanks again!! I have a couple packages I need to send out to him as well! and then my friend from Florida literally teased me because I got a package from him yesterday - Ragnarok was not the real gift that was just a bonus! Stay Tuned.
Here are the goodies from WildBil! Thanks a lot!!! Was stocked about the Wii games I have a sealed Sin & Punishment so now I have an open one so I can play! And was stoked to see RE4 Wii Edition!!

and this arrived...

Now I only need Vanguard Bandits & RayCrisis for the PS1 Subset!!
I told him wow!! and he told me the story how he came upon as is we were looking for this game a few years ago when I lived down there for a month for work. He went to a flea market and this guy had stacks of PS1, PS2, and like 30 copies of Mario/Duck Hunt and he said how much the guy said $1.00 I said wow amazing! and he said yup! and its very minty!! Well that's the story!

Young banana and I headed out today and attended a local toy show and went to a used media shop.
He grabbed this for $5. Missing the door and I believe maybe something on the front, but it's a sweet retro toy for him to use with my old Turtles.

Scored these gems today also. Never played Half-Life 2 and the store had several long box PSX games. Snagged RE for my main dawg Fleach.

And finally, today's Diamond....

This local toy fair had a boxed van, a boxed Millennium Falcon, boxed Gen 1 Transformers, and boxed Castle Greyskull and Skull Mountain. Best one I've been to so far. They do it quarterly.

Some stuff that has trickled in over the week from various trading sites.

EDIT: And this came from Amazon this afternoon. I have every version of this game except the original Sega CD (which I don't want). Maybe one day I'll actually play one of them!

Found this in a charity shop, but it hadn't been priced up yet:

The lady that sold it to me wasn't sure whether she was allowed to sell it yet, but she said she'd sell it for no lower than £5. So she asked £5.99.
She was saying stuff like "I might get into trouble for selling it too cheap" and "It might be worth more".
It's a charity shop for goodness' sake! You shouldn't mark donated items up as high as possible!

"Charity shop" and "mark donated items up as high as possible" go hand-in-hand here in the states. I've seen very few that didn't price something at 200% and let it wait, since they had no incentive to move it.

Tell me about it; the asking prices I've seen for stuff at the local Goodwills are getting more consistently ridiculous. If it's in the glass display case, it's most likely too rich for my blood. Which includes quite a few of the sealed KMart-closeout donations they've been getting in lately.
But that's not to say I find absolutely nothing worth buying; it just takes a little more effort is all.
For example:

- GamePro Wii Gamers' Guide magazine, $0.29
- Prima
Shadowrun
guide,
$3.99
$1.99
- Flame GBA SP, $12.99
- CIB
Mario Kart Wii
, $4.99
- Japanese
DDR with Mario
for GameCube, $4.99: Not sure if this was released by itself or just as part of a DDR mat bundle. And apparently it's not yet listed in the database...
- Japanese
Mario Kart DS
case with...

...Japanese
Kirby Canvas Curse
card, $4.99: even though the game didn't match the case, I just said "screw it" and bought it anyway.
That's it for now. But before I go, I was wondering if anyone here has played the
NES Remix
games for Wii U or 3DS, and if so, what you thought of them. I ask this 'cuz I'm gravitating towards buying one or both, and was wondering if they're worth it. Good, bad, or indifferent, please let me know! Er, preferably by PM, so as to not clutter up this thread with even more nonsense.
Thankies...

Hey everyone. Went out with a friend who has never shopped with me before here..well since he moved back anyways. We went out to spend the day as we are celebrating my bday and closing out with some beers and bowling tonight ahhh the good ole days (my bday was Wednesday). So today he thought well here's $50.00 buy what you want to buy. Also got a nice package in the mail from my friend Scott in Gainesville he said Happy Birthday and I was surprised to see what was inside. SO another free weekend of no spendy for me nice since bills are due. Here is the rundown:
First stop was Half Price Books (oh forgot to mention my brother went out with us too):
My brother grabbed these from HPB:
-Fable Prima Guide with Poster
-Perfect Dark Zero Prima Guide
-Soul Calibur Prima Guide
-World of Warcraft Mists of Pandaria LE - Brand New - to go with our Sealed Collector's Edition
-Resident Evil Novel
-3 Star Wars Novels and 2 DVD's
After using my 15% off Total Purchase for my Birthday Coupon my brother spent exactly what he was budgeted for $20.00 right on the nose
Then went to Ben's Game Zone - This is where my buddy bought me some games
-Comix Zone - Box to complete my cart & manual
-Mighty Morphin Power Rangers - No Manual - But I need to find one
-Mighty Morphin Power Rangers The Movie - Box & Cart to go with my Manual
-Tecmo NBA Basketball Minty - Complete in Box - Upgrade to my cart only
Total Spent $15.00
Then off to Gamers - My buddy bought some stuff and he finished out buying some stuff for me.
-Legendary Starfy - DS - CIB
-Darkstalkers - PSP - CIB
-Fat Princess - PSP - CIB
-Prince of Persia - PS3 - CIB
-Grand Theft Auto Vice City Stories Brady Guide
-Enduro - 2600 Box & Cart (I have the manual and extra cart)
-Kaboom - 2600 - Box & Cart
-Super Breakout - 2600 - Box & Cart
Box from my Friend for my brother and I:
- PC Games for my brother -
*Neverwinter Nights 2 CIB
*Rise of Nations - CIB
*Sentinel - CIB
and the last present was for me and I will show that last :-)
OH and eBay purchase from my bro from Estarland - Replacement Manual & Back Cover for Batman & Robin - and well the disc was in it as well said free CD with tape because of a slight crack on the inner circle not on the actual disc but a little super glue and bam like new and the disc is in great shape!

and finally probably my favorite gift of the day -
- Ragnarok DS CIB
OMG Sentinel is so good. Very pretty, existential story and some puzzles you can figure out, and the rest that you have to brute force.

Who?
BTW I've since read several online descriptions and user reviews since my last post, and found myself not quite convinced enough to get 'em. But that's okay, 'cuz I picked up a couple other titles instead... which I'll show y'all a little later.
Until then...
...nighters.
