80$ for the xbox and 20 games. so hype
W00T! Burnout 3! Probably my favourite Burnout game.
Interesting, you have two NFSUs but they're different... Promotional copy?
Promos aren't really a "thing" in the US, not like Europe.
It's the Platinum Hits version - same as the Classics series in Europe.
Yeah just regular and platinum hits. I don't know why you'd have two of the same game like that.
Other than the reason why I now have two of the same game

I was a bit spendy this weekend. I've been finding reasonably priced PS1 stuff at all 3 of my local game stores (anywhere from 20-40% less than Ebay completed listings). Last week was all about Survival Horror. I got one game from the genre this week, but it was much more RPG-centric.

Top Row: "Dragon Valor", "Vandal Hearts", "Shadow Madness"
Bottom Row: "Countdown Vampires", "The Granstream Saga"

I picked up just a couple of things the past few days:

This came from a coworker who told me that an ex-boyfriend of hers had left it in her home around 5 years ago, and she just re-discovered it was still there and wanted to get rid of it. 30 bucks later, it's now sitting in my collection. It's in mostly good shape and works just fine, though there is some rust on the bottom of the heat shield, and unfortunately it's not just surface rust. I'm looking for either just the heat shield, or a cheap broken N64 to part out so I can fix that problem.

This is a "Chintendo" Vii, a knockoff of the Nintendo Wii that I found at Goodwill for 9 dollars. It works on infrared technology, so the "motion controls" are spotty at best, and only actually register an "A" button press. Using the "ViiMote" like a regular wireless controller is surprisingly okay, though. The attachments are really just for show, and don't actually do anything. The light gun feels quite cheap and is extremely light, but also works surprisingly well. It comes with 109 built-in games, though it advertises 111. It has 2 games that repeat once each in Slalom and Lode Runner, and the other 107 are mostly other NES titles, including North American and Japanese releases like Balloon Fight, Friday The 13th, Moai Kun, and Nuts & Milk. The provided pseudo Famicom cartridge has 5 "motion-controlled" games and a short list of 7 other games that are mostly the same kind of racing games with different graphics. The games on the cartridge all suck, but the emulation of the NES titles is actually pretty good, with only some slight differences in some sound effects, music, and graphics.

All from a charity shop for £0.50 each. They were the only non-sports games there.
All of them have their manual. MotoGP's disc is near perfect, it even has (what I assume is) the original seal stuck inside.
I also picked up a pack of 25 floppy disks (£1) and a USB to right angled Mini USB cable (£0.50).

HA! The Vii! I love it!
@SirPsycho oh I see. Maybe the metal in Metal Slug 4 is a weaker metal, like aluminium.

Yes, the chintendo vii! I remember watching a hilarious tear down of it years ago. The inside is just a little board glued to the middle.
I think this was it:

I love these Famiclones. Many of them will run a lot of Famicom games, but the carts that come with them typically only run on NoaC systems.

That was actually the video that made me want to get one, just for the novelty. Of course, mine isn't the exact same version, but it's fundamentally the same thing.
