Its been a while since my last one, but here is what I picked up:

My fiance also got me Tiny Toon Adventures for the NES for my birthday (just forgot it when I took the pic).
Tiny Toon Adventures is a really great platformer!

My family and I made a stop while on the road to a funeral, (My wife's grandfather passed, I will have limited time and connectivity to be on the site, so don't fret if you notice I am missing for a bit.), but we did find a small game store in Sheridan, WY when stopping for food and fuel. Picked up some N64 titles for $2 each:
War Gods
F1 Pole Position 64
Perfect Dark
Also was able to purchase something for another system I have never seen before...and CIB to boot!
Computer Chess for the Atari 400/800. I have never even seen what a game for these system looks like, and now I have one CIB to show off. I love Atari carts because of the built in dust cover under them covering the chip. Does anyone know if there a reason they went away from that style? I am sure Atari must have had a patent preventing Nintendo and SEGA from using that type of technology...or maybe it was just deemed cost-ineffective for the extra plastic and parts? But Atari had a great thing going and stopped. (Personally, I think this 400 cart looks a lot sweeter than a 2600 cart)

Bunch of stuff today.

Some SNES games and the Killer Instinct OST to make my copy 100% complete! Thanks to GrayGhost for the awesome trade.
A few Atari games and a handheld that surprisingly had the manual. (I think I'm done with casino game handhelds.
)
aaand Avenue Q the musical album. The few tracks I heard were funny and it's kind of a cult hit so I couldn't pass it up.

Grabbed all of these for a quarter each. They were hidden away in a section of the thrift store I hadn't looked in before. Now I know!
Spoiler
(hover to show)
And knowing is half the battle.
The real score for me are the Scary Stories to tell in the Dark books. I've been searching for them for a long time. So imagine my surprise when I found all three together. These original versions are out of print due to the nightmare inducing illustrations which are why I wanted them in the first place. The set is going for around 30$ nowadays.

And finally... found these comic compilations I left behind at my Mom's. Up for sale if anyone wants any of these. (Except for Pokemon.)

Wicked score on those Richard Scary books! I have Scary tales Vol. 3. I must have signed those books out of my Elementary school library dozens of times! And my older sister did an awesome pencil sketch in high school of that corpse woman face from Vol.2.

I've neglected to put my past few months' worth of pickups (nothing too exciting, but solid stuff). I'll post a couple of picks from 5 purchase days:

On the left are "Lost In Shadow" (Wii) and "Final Fantasy XIII - Greatest Hits" (PS1), acquired from a game store at a local flea market. I don't have as big of a problem with greatest hits titles as most people (odd, since I'm anal about a lot of other things).
In the center are "Vay" (Sega CD), "The Kore Gang" (Wii) and "Maximum Carnage" (Genesis), acquired from a local game store which tends to be pricier than the flea market. These were all Ebay prices except the slightly faded "Maximum Carnage" which was pretty cheap. Admittedly, I initially only picked up "Vay" because I thought it said "Vaj", which I thought was hilarious (I'm THAT mature).
On the right are "Tales of Symphonia" (Gamecube) and "Ogre Battle 64", acquired at the Ottawa Geek Market (an event where once every 3 months or so, local vendors of geek stuff set up in a large space -- some activities/panels take place too). I got slightly lower than Ebay prices on both.
More recently:

Since October rolled around, I've been in the mood to get some Survival Horror games going, which coincided perfectly with my creation of the list of PS1 games I want to target (mostly Survival Horror and RPGs). Luckily, the flea market store has not repriced the PS1 stuff in a long time, so I was able to get all of those games for $10-15 less than ebay prices (most other stuff in the store is Ebay adjacent). In case the picture is not clear, the games are: "Galerians", "Fear Effect", "Resident Evil 2", "Echo Night", "Nightmare Creatures 2", "Parasite Eve", "Parasite Eve 2".

Your pickups have my name written all over them, you are wrong to say they aren't exciting. Some FANTASTIC RPGs, Max Carnage, Both Parasite eves, and Nightmare Creatures II, which holds a special spot for me growing up, but aside from that, was the start of Rob Zombie's involvement in media outside of mainstream music. The cutscenes are made 100xs better with Zombie in the background. You have some fantastic finds that definitely are exciting.

I went to PRGE this weekend. Like the last two years it didn't disappoint. Lotsa free arcade games, 100 vendors, cool art...loved it all. You east coast guys gotta check it out sometime. I ran into Nupoile and FourKhakis and had lunch with them, and Nupoile is such a stand up guy he even paid for my wife and my milkshakes! He gets paid the big bucks so its no skim off his back.
Since I recently spent a snotload of my videogame hoarding money on Web of Fire, I didnt have much to spend at the expo. However I did grab a couple things:

That brings the total of 32x games remaining down to 2. So close I can taste it....nevermind, thats just the milkshake.

I wish I could enjoy all the west coast shenanigans with you guys. At least I get to look at some cool goodies.
A little something for myself today from GameFly:

So how much did he pay for your wife? Probably should have bartered games for her instead.
Hey wait a minute... doesn't he already have a wife? What is he, a Mormon?
