I don't have much experience with horror titles, (RE4 being the only one I have really played), but this game really did get my attention. It looks like a lot of fun.

I got some more board games to add to my collection. One of note is Tetris and a beautiful complete Electronic Battleship.

Picked up  CIB Shadow of the Beast for 7.00

I am running out of room for my Board Game Collection

Did you find that Battleship at the Value Village in Tukwila?

No, I got it from the Salvation Army Thrift in Seattle

@disposedhero, really interested in Evil Within as well as the new Alien game, I want to pick up a PS4 just for those games, oh and being a Dark Souls fan, I gotta get Bloodborne

Salvation army...that is a thrift store I haven't heard about in years. The last one in Denver was less than a block away from me and it finally shut down while I was in middle school. I wish they would come back, Goodwill is getting out of hand and could use some competition.

So far the ones I have been to have really great prices, sometimes they have things in their collectables section priced high, but more often than not, stuff is pretty reasonable, a steal at times.

Gosh, a CIB Advance game. I haven't seen those since they were new. ha ha Nice!

Love seeing the Timesplitters games, but the only way to play is on the 'Cube...just sayin' leo You are forgiven though. Classic Mario platforming always makes things better. Wink

Hey, check out this stuff.

This is stuff I picked up from thrifts up through the end of September.  Nothing really that spectacular, but the 360 controller was nice.  It's absolutely flawless and was only $6.  The big box PC games were also nice for $3 a piece.  The Final Fantasy DS game I got from a K Mart near me that was closing down for $8.  Everything else was between $1 and $3 a piece.

Heya kids. Figured it was high time to show off my latest stack of swag, so here we go.

I'll start with the most obvious stuff: my most recent Skylanders Trap Team pickups.

- Blades/Torch/Series 4 Gill Grunt triple pack

- Claw Tech Trap

- Target-exclusive water trap with Outlaw Brawl & Chain

- Hardcover Collector's Edition strategy guide

Speaking of reading material:

- Mario Kart Wii Nintendo Power digest edition guide, $2.99 $1.49

- Guinness World Records 2014 Gamer's Edition book, $3.99 $1.99

- Hardcover Hyrule Warriors guide: If you want to rule from on high, you'd better prepare for war. And there's no better way to prepare than to have this handy-dandy guide at your side.

- I also picked up a big ol' stack of virtually brand new CD jewel cases to replace all the broken ones in my collection.

Up next: hardware 'n' stuff.

- Intec Gamester USA Pro Racer controller for GameCube, $3.99: although it's meant for racing games, I find it more comfortable to use than the standard controller.

- Mission: Paintball Trainer plug & play game, $3.99

- Tiger Super Arcade Pinball handheld, $1.99

- Black and metallic rose DS Lites, $25.00 for both: Been seein' a lotta DS Lites at the Goodwills lately, but seldom for what these were goin' for.

On to CIB games:

- 3DS Sonic Lost World ($17.99) and Super Monkey Ball 3D ($5.99)

- PS3 Uncharted Dual Pack featuring Greatest Hits releases of Drake's Fortune and the Game of the Year Edition of Uncharted 2, $9.99 $7.99

- Wii Bust-A-Move Bash!, $3.49

- XBox RoadKill, $1.99

Aaaand finally, the coolest find of the week:

At first glance, I thought this was some sort of electronic combination of Battleship and Space Invaders with a little Missile Command thrown in for good measure. Very odd, yet interesting. Turns out it's...

...Epoch's Black Bomber, the fifth awesome addition to my collection of Epoch brand / Epoch-licensed electronic games. And it appears to be complete from what I can tell.

Turns out it's almost entirely mechanical; the only electric part are the lights for the planes, bombs, and ships/sunken-ship point scores. The orange dial "winds up" the game, which also acts as a timer. It plays like a pachinko machine, where internal balls are put into play with the orange lever on the right side, and show up on the "screen" as bombs falling on the ships. It's much more a game of luck than skill, which is a bit disappointing. Also disappointing: the machine doesn't keep a running count of your score.   Looks pretty cool, though, if nothing else.

All right, back to you.

@zagnorch, Very cool Epoch find, I don't know much about those handhelds but from what I see they look very awesome. Also great price on those DS Lites, I wish I could find those around here for that price, I kinda need one so I can justify to pick up the Castlevania DS games.

A very nice find. The SNES version was different from the Sega, so you'll have to play both to really find out what you've missed out on. The SNES was more like the arcade version.

Good Gamecube games are like unicorns around here. Besides, those two completed the series for me on one of my main systems no less.
