Found a couple light guns for XBox. Even with the green buttons, the black one looks a bit too realistic.

Nothing wrong with being realistic. Tongue

A very pretty replacement for my own cosmetically-challenged Super Mario RPG cart.
Shocked

EDIT: Wait... Maybe you don't advise I use it because of the higher voltage here? Or was it the fact that it could cause serious problems?

Ha ha ha. I guess SMRPG as soon as I saw the bottom of the cart. Were there any other SNES games with the extra two chips like SMRPG?

I know the Super FX games use those extra pins.

I will have to keep an eye out for those. Seeing that set of extra pins growing up on my SMRPG was always cool.

My only score from this week was from my first trade. I was able to turn my second copy of Shining Force II into a copy of the first Shining Force and also traded for a couple more games to add to my embarrassingly lackluster Genesis collection. The 2600 games were thrown in as a bonus and were very well appreciated!

The picture stinks and I am sorry for that. The Genesis games are Warrior of Rome, Viewpoint, and Shining Force; and the 2600 games are Stampede, Keystone Kapers, and Atlantis.

I recalled that previous pick-up when I saw the other one, and decided on the spot to read several online reviews and ratings on my phone before I bought it. I judged from what I read that it didn't have the same issues the "slimline" 360 Intercooler did. It consistently sported a 3.5-out-of-5-star rating; the main knock against it is its apparent noisiness. Guess I'll find out one of these weeks...

Well, in my collection alone, there's Yoshi's Island, Metal Combat, Kirby Super Star...

And how could you forget StarFox / StarWing?

I like Stunt Race FX. The slow frame rate takes a bit of getting used to though.

Buddy of mine just finished law school and passed the bar exam.

Yeah, that's just what we need: another freakin' lawyer.   Roll Eyes

Got him a little gift. He's a big fan of a certain series, so I thought cuff links were appropriate...

Huh, I woulda figured him for a fan of the Phoenix Wright series.  Wink

All right, time to reveal the big haul I teased in my last Small Scores post:

For a little under $40 at the nearby Savers, I picked up 22 mostly loose games, which I will break down by system.

For the NES:

- TMNT II The Arcade Game and The Manhatten Project: I swear to Eon, if I ever find this "C. Davis" guy who wrote his name on these things, I'm gonna pop him one.  Angry

- Micro Machines, Quattro Sports, and Big Nose the Caveman gold carts

For the SNES:

- Super Mario World
- Super Mario Kart
- Wrestlemania the Arcade Game
- Super Bomberman 2

PlayStation discs with manuals:

-Bust-a-Move '99
- Army Men: Air Combat
- Spyro: Ripto's Rage!

For the Sega Saturn:

- Madden '97 & '98
- Iron Man & X-O Manowar
- Bug!
- SimCity 2000

Aaand for the 32X (this one's for you, Bil (even though you prefer 'em CIB)):

- Knuckles Chaotix: the 32X title I've been on the lookout for. Would've preferred it CIB, but at least I now have the opportunity to play it.

- Virtua Racing: Although I'm not the biggest collector of auto racing games, this one has been highly recommended, so I figured why the hell not.

- Doom

-Star Wars Arcade: Freakin' ripped label.  Sad

- Steel Empire for Genesis: I didn't feel like giving this its own pic.

Whelp, that's it for now. Tune in next time when I show you the most interesting-- and possibly contraband-- piece of video game firepower I've ever discovered, as well as a certain rare* SNES title in a rather unexpected place.

Cute.  Cheesy

Damn, good prices.  So I saw you said Savers and I said, "I have never heard of that store".  So I looked them up and there is one an hour away!  So, I'll going to try to head out there today and check them out.  There is hope!

Well, today was a good day. I got to add a couple NES games to my library. This Mario 3 is the original release since its missing the -1 from the part number. I've been looking for Mario Bros. for awhile now, always happy to get more Black Box games that I need.

Now here's the real meat, and this deal ended up netting me a sexy piece of trade bait. Yellow, Ruby, and Pinball are complete in box. Leaf Green's box is the nicest in the lot, but its missing the actual game, the manual and inserts are all there though. Yellow is for trade for anybody interested, there's a bit of water damage to the top right of the box. The save battery still works! Tommy's game was right where he left it.

I didn't buy this last piece, but I could have. My wallet would have hated me though. Factory sealed Game Boy Micro.

I mentioned in the piles of shame collectorcast thread that I have a few series' wherein I own them all but haven't touched any of them. Now I'm starting to really pile up games of a certain sub-genre without having played any, that being the monster-farming rpg. Anyway, got this off LeapTrade today.
