Got this beautiful brand new Danganrompa 2 LE from Disposed Hero.

...And this copy of Tomba! is what I got in return.  That's another PS1 gem to cross off my list.  Thanks Mr. GrayGhost!

I also got this from the good folks on the Community Playthrough committee for being the first to post the special message from the last podcast:

I said it several times during the Chrono Trigger playthrough, but Chrono Trigger has been my all time favorite game for nearly 20 years, and having the original Super Famicom version is really cool for me.  Unfortunately I don't have a Super Famicom right now to play it on, but until then, I will display it proudly along with my other SNES things.  Thanks guys!

I would love the day when I can say that picking up Mega Man X3 is just a normal score that has nothing special about it.

No need for a Super Famicom, just do the world's easiest console mod on your SNES!

Oddly enough, the first copy of X3 I picked up I only paid $3 for from a flea market 3 or 4 years ago.

Ah, interesting.  I knew about that trick for the N64, but didn't know it would work for SNES as well.

I neglected to mention a couple retail pickups recently:

I still wanted a vanilla copy of the game after GrayGhost took the bulkier LE off my hands.

...And then there's this.  I'm having some serious second thoughts about keeping this one since I'm trying to unload a lot of the bulkier stuff in my collection.  I think this is going in my sale thread the next time I update it.

No Kidding! MMX3 is the second most expensive MM game online right now. I was surprised to see MM8 for the Saturn at the top of the list. I better grab that one from my dad the next time I am over there.

Hey now again,

All right, time to show off the big surprise find I discovered the other day...

But before I do that, lemme show you some other recent pick-ups:

Found a couple light guns for XBox. Even with the green buttons, the black one looks a bit too realistic. Gonna paint the barrel orange one of these weeks. It doesn't help that the hammer cocks back and the slide actually-- well, slides.

It even has auto-fire, autoload, and recoil settings:

Sadly, the "laser sight" part doesn't actually emit a laser. Oh well...

I also grabbed a CIB cooling fan for my 360, and a CIB copy of Kill Switch for $3.99 each.

All right, now it's time to show off the big surprise...

Oh hey, you know what? I should probably tell you the story of how I discovered it. It was purely by random chance that I found it, as part a grab-bag with another item that grabbed my attention:

It was the Lego Batman case that caught my eye. Curious to figure out what it was for, I pulled it off the pin in the local Savers electronics section, and gave it a closer look.

Near as I can tell, it's a protector case for a smartphone... maybe.

Speaking of mobile phones: the grab bag also contained a toy cell phone...

Aaaaand behind the other two items...

...all but hidden...

...was one...

...thing:

A very pretty replacement for my own cosmetically-challenged Super Mario RPG cart.

Now I just need to bump into a more aesthetically pleasing Chrono Trigger.

Sigh... some day...
