Greetings from Terra,
Seems like everyone's been really cleaning up around here lately. Makes my recent stack of scores look lame in comparison... which I'll get to in a bit.
But first:
I'm going to start stalking Zagnorch and Techie to figure out where all these goodies are hiding.
No need to go to such extreme measures, my good man; you're more than welcome to ride shotgun on one of my cross-county thrift runs. You just might be fortunate enough to dig up a find like this:

And now I'll turn it around to show you how much it set me back:

Now some of you are likely saying to yourselves,
Oh for the love of Polybius, not another goddamned graphing calculator score. Well, if you don't dig it, just scroll down a little to check out my recent vidya pickups. See you down there in a moment...
Now the rest of you are probably thinking,
$3.49 for a graphing calculator that retails for $100+? That HAS to be a mistake, right? And you would be correct: at ringup, the cashier realized it was waaay underpriced, and took it to the back to find out what the deal was. She came back a few minutes later, stating that a new trainee mispriced it, but let me have it for that price 'cuz the mistake was their fault. I thanked her and told her I'd show my gratitude by frequenting the place more often.
Speaking of calculators:
Once I heard on a podcast that Zagnorch makes his small scores posts like a magazine article.....
I'm aiming for a novella with this post. Small Scores inspires me to channel my inner narcissist and natter on incessantly about my thrift pickups, regardless of whether you find them interesting or not.
Speaking of Zagnorch......
And now, I present a non-vidya pickup to calm a certain concerned RF Gentleman who PMed me a few weeks ago asking me why I hadn't been showing off any small scores lately.
This one's for you, Nupoile:

Found 'em all in one place. Twenty smackers for the bunch.
That is a pretty awesome price but it's sad you are just going to sell them and make a bunch of money when you should keep them and calculate all sorts of fantastic numbers.
**Gotta pay for the gas I burn on my thrift runs somehow. And those Not-So-Secret Santa gifts aren't gonna ship themselves for free. Besides, there's only one graphing calculator I'm keeping... which I'll reveal momentarily.
All right, let's do this:

My best Nupe-gif yet. What can I say: you inspire me. Better behave yourself, though, lest I get tempted to take it into Rule 34 territory.

C'mere, you Don't know if wantAaaaand now, the capper: with gift card in hand, I hit the local Target to take advantage of their
Skylanders Buy-2-Get-1 sale. Sadly, they didn't have any of the ones I needed, so I took advantage of their sale on this bad boy instead:

My favorite model TI graphing calculator, now with a color display?!
Pardon the expression, but... color me there!
There, I tried to make it all magazine/Zagnorch like. Looking back, this post looks all busy and full of needless stuff. Maybe its a Japanese magazine article...
Never thought you'd be so eager to carry on my RF Gen legacy... mainly 'cuz I figured you had far better things to do.
All righty, time to let someone else bore you to death with his insipid ramblings. And I'll try really, REALLY hard to not show off my calculator scores next time, pinky swear.
Nighters...
