So this is interesting.

I picked this up along with an Atari CX-2600 box at an estate sale last week.  Ive never seen this before, I'm keeping it unassembled.

When did anything for the N64 become so valuable? I ran a quick Ebay check and saw it for myself. As well as Snowboard kids and a few other games going for hundreds. Am I missing something, or is my N64 collection truly the most valuable of everything I own?

I also saw Chip and Dale and Battletoads/Double Dragon for the NES were pretty rare too. How valuable have those games become in my ignorance?

just about everything N64 has been creeping up since at least 2008 or 2009. that sculptor's cut manual is actually down in price though, last year it had a crazy spike up to around $1400 or so.

Hey! I picked up that Sonic soundtrack at a yard sale for $0.50! My favorite Sonic soundtrack still has to be Sonic CD, with Sonic 3D Blast coming right after it. Of course, those soundtracks can be played directly off the PC games themselves! It's great having the knowledge that it was a Toys R Us preorder for Sonic 3. I never knew!
Lucky!! $0.50 is such a great price for this Sonic Boom Soundtrack! Shocked
@GamerNick: Nicee you got this one too! Grin

N64 is thru the roof on some games.  I already have over 10G invested into my CIB N64 set and I am still not finished.

That is not a bad price for that manual at all.  I paid $1080 for my mint sculptors cut manual.  It really sucked dropping that kinda money on it

No offense, but why pay so much for a Manual alone? Serious question, I really want to know why.

Honestly it comes down to me trying to complete the NTSC N64 library,  I am currently 12 games away from the complete set and if I was not trying to complete it I would of most likely never been in the market for that manual.  I actually passed on a Clayfighter sculptors cut box and manual in 2010/2011 for $500 because I thought it was kinda ridiculous to pay a price like that.  But I then soon relized why people do it and it is normally people trying to go for a CIB set or people who exclusively collect rare games which I know a few people.

So I received this in the mail a few days ago.......

A big shout out to Zagnorch for the awesome stuff! Of course the Atari calculator is my favorite, being the huge 2600 fan that I am. The PSP case was also a nice surprise, since I didn't have anything to store my recently acquired PSP in. The other stuff is really cool as well. My son keeps trying to steal my golf ball to play with, so I'm gonna have to put it high up on a shelf in my gameroom. Big fan of the Hot Shots golf series. Thank you sir!

This is one that I'm not sure I'll ever get to with my CIB N64 set.  Most games will have the box and manual, just maybe not everything.

i totally had no plans on getting sculptor's cut CIB, it was going to be that one disappointment in the set that stayed loose. that was when the price was $1000+ for manual, which i thought was ridiculous, but when i saw one locally listed at $400 while the only one on ebay (out of current and sold listings) was $490 + shipping, i couldn't pass it up. i know in the past i would have said i was nuts to do this, but like tadpole said it's about getting the complete set. N64 is extremely reasonable for all prices when you compare it to a CIB NES or Atari 2600 set.

There is no such animal as a complete Atari 2600 set.  Wink
