Hey everyone! So it's been a while since I posted on here...mainly because I have worked 20 days straight and I finally got around to getting some goodies.  Well today my dad and I went out of town to Kansas City to hit up 8 different Vintage Stocks & a Half Price Books in Overland Park, KS..sadly couldn't meet up with sir Bickman because we were on a time schedule.  So I actually didn't spend too much but needless to say I got a few things...nothing super rare but I do have the rest of the Saturn games coming from our very own Tynstar..oh and some other goodies I bought from him.

SO here is the rundown --- any good deals I'll throw a price in it.

Half Price Books ---
*Battlefield 3 - The Russian Novel - $1.00

Everything else listed is from Vintage Stock
*Lost in Blue Shipwrecked - $5.00
*Xena Warrior Princess - CB
*Wolfenstein 3D - Jaguar CIB - $8.00
*Casper - Black Label (Bought Fracking Time!)
*Pinocchio - CIB - Minty - $5.00
*Chi Chi Pro Challenge Golf - CIB
*NBA Jam - SCD - Very Minty
*Rise of the Dragon - Very Very Minty - $5.00
*Star Wars Rebel Assault - $4.00 (also very minty)
*Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow - Double Jump Books with Poster - $2.00
*Sonic Adventure DC Brady Games Guide - Like New - $1.00

OH and my Godzilla manual showed up from ebay

I've been in Skegness for a week. Tongue

From Charity Shops:
Colin McRae Rally 3 (Promo Edition: Not For Resale, PC) - £1.49 (Sealed and staying that way. Cheesy)
Deus Ex: Invisible War (Promotional Copy Not For Resale, XBOX) - £0.49 (Has a manual. They had a few more Promo XBOX games, but these are the ones I picked out. I kind of wish I bought them all...)
Driv3r (Promotional Copy Not For Resale, XBOX) - £0.49
FarCry Instincts (Promotional Copy Not For Resale, XBOX) - £0.49
Gran Turismo 3: A-Spec (Platinum, PS2) - Either £1.00 or £0.99 (I have this already, but without the box.)
Need For Speed Underground 2 (Promotional Copy Not For Resale, XBOX) - £0.49
Official XBOX Magazine Game Disc 27 (XBOX) - £0.49 (There's more than just Sonic Heroes on there. Not sure if the disc matches. Probably does.)
The Pocket Book of PlayStation Hints and Tips Vol 2 (N/A) - £0.20 (I only have 5 of the 57 games listed in there.)
TOCA Race Driver 2 (Promotional Copy Not For Resale, XBOX) - £0.49 (Has a manual.)

From Some Store:
Jacked (PC) £1.00 (Sealed. These were Buy One Get One Free, so in total I spent £2 on these. They will probably get opened.)
Mars Taxi (PC) £1.00 (Sealed)
Thunder Brigade (PC) £1.00 (Sealed. I remember playing this on a Win98 machine when I was younger. Smiley)
Virtua Fighter (PC) £1.00 (Sealed)

I don't log PC games in my collection. It's too confusing with all these different releases...

@Mumboking: glad to see another promo fan.

Picked up a US Greatest Hits Final Fantasy XIII for $15 at EB Games today.  I love finding foreign country variants in local stores Smiley

The downside is that EB insist on putting their preowned stickers on the paper insert, and I've spent over 30mins so far trying to peel it off.

@mumboking: glad to see another promo fan.
I like finding things like that in the wild as it's something different for the collection. Smiley
I'm guessing that there is a game reviewer or game store employee/manager somewhere in Skegness that donated them to the charity shop.
Those are the only reasons I can think of that would explain how ~10 promo games got there.
Some that I didn't buy included 3 Tom Clancy XBOX games. There may have been a few more PC promo games, but I didn't have time to check. Sad

A lot of variety here. Seeing Jaguar stuff being bought gives me hope I will find some in the wild to go with my Cybermorph. That Lost in Blue game is awesome! I have never seen Pinocchio on the Genesis before either. Awesome finds all around!

Lets see if I remember how this thread works, its been so long since I've posted here.
I bought these a couple weeks back at the flea market, $8 for both.

It took me forever to track down this beloved game of my childhood, so when I saw two copies for this price, I had to buy them.

But the real score was this amazing little lot I got from my co-worker.

50 games in total with no duplicates. Nothing especially hard to find, but a few I didn't already have.

And a little something I thought the Collectorcast fans might appreciate.

I loved Claymates growing up, it was an awesome game. I also spotted Yo Noid in the NES box...one of the few games from my childhood I still haven't been able to find in the wild. Awesome finds!

Also jealous of the Target finds. Those 2 3DS games would be awesome to have...even though I haven't got a 3DS yet...ha ha

I believe I have an extra Yo Noid available...

Picked these up at a garage sale here in Austin. Not games I would pick up at home, but I felt lucky that the first place I went to had games, and I talked the guy into selling them at half of what he was asking.

EDIT: Also, did someone say SILENT SERVICE?

Hey now, everybody.

Some real solid scores lately (especially Ghosty's discovery of a big cache of you-know-what). Although my latest scores look downright paltry in comparison, I'll overcome my bashfulness and show them to you anyway:

CIB PS2 and XBox titles, $1.95 each:

- Urban Chaos: Riot response
- GunGrave OverDose
- Trigger Man
- The Getaway: Black Monday

CIB PS1 titles, $0.50 each:

- Strikers 1945
- Agile Warrior F-IIIX

Misc:

- Ecco the Dolphin: The Tides of Time for Genesis (no manual)

- Sealed Dodonpachi Resurrection: Deluxe Edition for 360

- Skylanders Swap Force Quick Draw Rattle Shake figure: originally a Frito-Lay contest exclusive. Looks like I shouldn't even bother to enter Lay's Skylanders contests anymore if those "exclusives" will see retail release several months down the line anyway. Hey Frito-Lay, let's switch places so you can eat me!

Speaking of Skylanders: Remember Spyro before he headlined the Skylanders series? Yeah, me neither. Fortunately, the big Spyro plush I found will help jog my memory of Spyro's early days of glory when he was the PlayStation's second-biggest mascot in the western world. Oh, and of course there's the small plush Luigi... woo-hoo.

All right, back to you.

Some retailer grabs from the past week:

You may be seeing that same exact copy of Borderlands 2 in another scores post soon....

And now a lot of random goodies I bought from our very own blcklblskt:

Best pick up in awhile.  Grabbed this bad boy for $9.99 at my local value village.  Too bad I live on the 3rd floor....

I love the way the cat is looking at it like "Yes!  Now I get to show off my sweet dance moves!"

Anyway, awesome grab.  I don't have any idea how much those typical go for, but $10 seems like a steal.
Wow great pick up with the DDR pad.  WIth this work with any of the major consoles or will you actually have to have the arcade?

Well thanks to Boshamp I finally have access to the Small scores thread.  I now have it saved in my favorites so I can post this, where it should.

I just received this massive original Nintendo haul CIB in the mail about a week ago and I am still pretty excited.  I believe it is just over 460 different titles so now it is just the process of going thru each of them and adding them to my Rfgeneration account.

@Tadpole: Welcome to the site, and with that score you're going to make a lot of friends real quick here.

Some more from me. Day two in Austin TX and I think I've hit every video game store worth a damn. Vacation success! Nothing crazy but I'm happy with the choices. If I move here I'm happy to report, the game hunting is halfway decent at the least.
