That SNES lot is awesome.  I didn't think lots like that still existed in the wild for under $100.  Nice grab.

So on my last post I said something about posting my scores more often so my post wasn't a wall.  Apparently that doesn't matter because here comes another wall o' pictures.

First off I got all of these from Toys R' Us and Kmart Clearance sales.

All of the games from TRU were $2.50 a piece which is still probably more than they're worth.  The good games were from Kmart and were $10 a piece.  I'm still entertained that PS2 games are available at TRU and I'll grab them any day.

These were all from thrifts over the past week and another run to Disc Replay.  The Xbox games and Tiger Woods were 50% off, so they were $1.50 a piece.  The big winners here were Silent Hill:  Shattered Memories and the Wii Pokémon game which were $3 a piece.  My daughter picked out the Disney Princess game and it made me so happy that she was picking out games that I didn't hesitate to buy it.

Finally, this morning my wife said "Do you want to go to that flea market out in Waterford".  After I woke up from my joygasm at the prospect that my wife was suggesting we go out and hunt for games, I got this stuff:

This is the second time in about as many weeks that I've grabbed Final Fantasy X.  Last time it was the Greatest Hits version and this one was only $2.  That Encounter at L-5 for the 2600 was $5 and is complete.  According to Pricecharting it goes for around $20, so that's a nice deal.  Everything else was 2 or 3 bucks a piece.

And that's sort of it.  I got a few other things the past week, but I don't know if I'll post them.  I'm pretty sure I'm the only one excited by them and they aren't exactly video games.  Whatever, point is I'm done for now.

Nice grab on all the SNES titles. I never knew there was an N64 NBA JAM game.

I also hit up TRU this weekend. Not much left, so my wife and I expanded our travel zone and hit a few more stores outside the metro area, but still pretty much came up empty. I snagged an 8 pack of rainbow WII U styluses for a buck, a gen 1 DS car charger for .50, and a few more X360 titles for between 5-7.50 each, (TMNT was 10). I didn't know K-mart was having a sale, so those are next for me to attack. There are only two left in Denver, so should be quick and easy.

I also hit up a local store really gaining in size and popularity when they posted a retro game sale on Facebook for buy one, get one free one day only. With all retro games already priced at 2.98 regardless of title, I took the trip. Turns out "Retro" was everything from Colecovision to PS2. I stayed focused on what I know and have passion for, so I stayed within GC for the most part in this purchase.

They definitely had a lot of 2600, 5200, Coleco-vision, Intellivision, NES, and Master system titles, so I might take a longer trip to research and see if they have anything moderately rare in case nobody else around my area has sifted through it all already.

Send me pics of that Atari/Coleco/Int stuff Boshamp, I'll be able to let you know what you need to pick up.

@bsr241 - I had completely forgotten about that Hit & Missile game! I remember that very well from my childhood and it was really cool. Great find!

Sure. It may be a few days before I go back, but that would be helpful, sir.

Not too many pick ups lately, just a few things here and there.  The wife and I are in super save mode to buy a house so I'm trying to limit my spending.

SNES games $1.99 each

Wavebird was $4.99, but its not working :/ the light turned on for a minute, but hasn't turned back on since.  I'm tempted to break it open to see what's going on in there

I picked up a few things yesterday at R.U. Game.  You Don't Know Jack is a game my wife will actually play.  She loves this series and saw it at Wal-Mart for $30.  I told her to let me make a phone call quick to see if I could get it cheaper.  Of course R.U. Game had it used for $9.  I grabbed 2 more N64 games to inch closer to a complete set, and the two DS games were from a yard sale forever ago.  The little girl (no more than 6 or 7) who was selling her games said they were 25 cents each.  I didn't want to totally rip of a small child, so I offered her $5 each.

This now completes my sealed subset of Mario Kart 8 Happy Meal Toys.

And lastly, a friend was in need of a bit of cash for his family so he offered to sell me one of his favorite and maybe his only remaining retro game he had left.  If he sold it to me, he can still come over and play it and knows it will be in good hands.  For $50 I now finally own Chrono Trigger.

Hey now,

Took advantage of TRU's 4-for-$40 promotion on all single Skylanders figures, and picked up four swappable Swap Force characters. Now I'm just two away from having all of the standard-ish swappables, and few more away from the complete Swap Force set.

Other than that, I found some more reading material, including:

- BradyGames Xenogears, Final Fantasy VIII, Devil May Cry 3, Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner, and  StarOcean: The Last Hope guides

- GW Total Annihilation guide

- Nintendo Power #225, celebrating NP's 20th anniversary. Sadly, the magazine wouldn't last long enough to celebrate its 25th anniversary...
