Pretty cool stuff. That glove looks like it would be a lot more fun to use than the NES glove, probably a lot easier to set up and use too.

Hey all. Was going through my stuff today and also didn't realize that I never searched through the boxed Atari 800 XL my brother bought a while back.  It's in great shape..and well it came with a few extras I didn't see ---

*Star Trek with Manual & Controller Layover
*Basic (Might have this already)
*Star Raiders (Might have this already)
*Couple of copied games
*DOS 2.5 which is awesome
*Macro Assembler Disc & Manual

So pretty sweet huh>? So here is what I need help on and it's with this disc - Atari Exchange Program??

I am assuming the game is Eastern Front (1941)  Any info on this type of thing would be great?  Is it a "Prototype" or something??

It's not a prototype:

Atari Program Exchange (APX) was -- and remains -- a rare software distribution model, in which Atari would encourage end users to create software for their 8-bit computers, then would sell the software through a catalog, and pay royalties to the programmers.

http://www.atariarchives.org/APX/about.php

There's one for sale on ebay now:

Nice find!

Also:

As of June 1983 Crawford's Eastern Front (1941) was APX's best seller.[2]

Here's some information about the game's development:

I haven't posted in a while, but I have been getting in some decent stuff.

Today I received a package from member sensaiman. Check out his FS thread on here. He always has great prices and very nice games, but he has now even lowered his low prices with a baby on the way. Help this guy out and get yourself some great games and a great system or two.

$8

Not a game, but an awesome find I had to post. Original Harvest label

A new pin for the collection. A 1981 Stern Electronics "Lightning"

And straight from the North Pole from Santa Crabs himself:

The two licensed games bring me down to 5 more titles for a complete licensed set. Thanks Crabby!

Congrats on getting so close to finished set! How does it feel to be able to count your remaining NES games on one hand?

Bubble Booble 2? THAT sounds like a game I could proudly display next to the Leisure Suit Larry Collection. Wink

I remember owning one game with that blue type cart, were there many with that cart? Were they all from the same unlicensed producer?

There are several of the blue unlicensed carts and they were made by a few companies: Wisdom Tree, Bunch Games, and Color Dreams. Other unlicensed developers had a similar black cart as well and some titles come both ways.

DUDE...

...I totally dig Gladys Knight and the Pips, too! And here I thought I was the only one...

ANYway, I finally caught a break in my vidya-thrifting drought when I dug up several loose Genesis and N64 carts and a CIB PlayStation game for $2.49 each:

Genesis:

- Blaster Master 2

- Phantasy Star III

- ToeJam & Earl

- Star Trek the Next Generation

- Fatal Rewind

- Urban Strike

- Prince of Persia

- Shining Force

- Super Battletank

- Mega Bomberman:
I was kinda hoping this would be a Mega Man / Bomberman crossover. Hey, a guy can dream, right?

N64:

- Ready 2 Rumble Boxing

- The New Tetris

- Magical Tetris Challenge

...aaaaaand finally: Sheep for PS1.

Chaos Theory Remixed - Splinter Cell 3D + Grand Theft Auto III Vinyl Records 12" (30 cm)

The postman was generious today!
Spoiler (hover to show)
Chaos Theory Remixed (The Soundtrack To Splinter Cell 3D) Vinyl
This is a 180 gram (high quality) double Vinyl album with 12 tracks from the Splinter Cell 3D game, release on the 3DS exclusively on Ubiworkshop in 2011.
It comes in 3D sleeves with 3D glasses included in the package.

Grand Theft Auto III Vinyl
This was an exclusive to USA in 2002 and contains 6 tracks. I think it was a limited preorder bonus when you bought the game from a specific store.

@singlebanana: It's good too see someone else posting vinyls here Grin
