Not much today, but I did finally break down and get a legit copy of Minecraft.

Someone PM me the address? I'm always up for a good MC server, I honestly used to be a part of one elsewhere and miss it.

Nothing too exciting, bunch of Need for Speed titles I got off a co-worker that was selling off some stuff.  Realized I didn't have any Need for Speed stuff except for The Run on 360 and figured what the hell?

Bunch of random manuals to go with some boxes/carts that I didn't have manuals for... and some others for the heck of it.

And the first WiiU game I picked up since I bought the Windwaker HD bundle, and a Pro Controller for the heck of it.

Hey now everybody,

Haven't found too much over the last couple weeks. That's early- to mid-summer thrifting around these parts for you. Fortunately, it hasn't been a complete shutout:

- CIB Time Crisis 4 with GunCon 3 bundle, $29.99 $22.49

- White DS Lite, $12.99

- Gauntlet Legends N64 cart, $2.49

- Kenner Red Line handheld and glacier GBA with Tony Hawk cart, $10 for both: Red Line was an odd find. Not only is it uncommon, but it doesn't have a viewscreen, just lights and sound cues to play off of. It also brings back nostalgia for the Kenner brand name, most notable for producing the Star Wars action figure line before it was absorbed by Hasbro.

- CIB Fox Sports Electronic Handheld Football, $2.99

- Tips & Tricks magazine #101, $0.29: includes an EB Games price tag still stuck to it.

I'm glad I got mine so long ago then. Bucky is one of the most important games from my childhood. I need to get a better idea on what is rare and not so if I see stuff in the wild, I will know what I can turn a profit on it. I haven't sold anything personally in a long time, i know the market has probably changed a ton and I am out of practice.

The market has changed a ton even from when I started selling stuff about two years ago.  As for rare NES titles...the word rare has changed quite a bit --rare for NES like those titles that Sirpsycho got they are actually highly sought after games which in some collectors eyes is "rare" but they are just highly sought after --- now Bucky isn't super rare by all means but rare as in not seen much and Sir got a heck of a deal on it as it is a challenging and very fun game!!!  Here's how pricing has changed --- he mentions that the cart now goes for $55 and up which is very true (again nice score Sir very very awesome games lots of my favorites in there) and reason it's changed is just 2-2 1/2 years ago I got my minty CIB for $50 at a local store who usually prices around eBay and Amazon.

Boshamp it is up to you when you do sell sell with how you feel it should priced not by what eBay sells it for or Amazon...you can use them as a base for a price (when you use eBay use Sold Listings - not current listings) as you will find more of a following when you do price by what your gut thinks - I have sold a lot of stuff on here and NA based on my gut prices as I do start off in between and even go lower and heck I even work out deals with everyone coming from a guy who sold a stack of NES titles for $2.00 a piece --- why? because I like making sure collector's are happy :-)  Also a big thanks to those who have bought from me and those I have bought from you guys all rock!!! BO- keep up the good topics! Sirp - Keep up the great scores!!

Value is something I am always struggling with, and I am sure I will get more in tune with the "force" that is supply and demand. But that is why I love it so much. I am into gamecube stuff and someone else will love something else. What is see a lot of is personal value on this site. Instead of saying Ikaruga on the GC is worth 50 bucks outright, it might be worth more to me than someone else. I might have something someone else finds value in and trading will be my number one interest some the time for me to be organized with what I have. I might have an extra copy of Bucky O' Hare or something floating around and instead of selling it, I might be able to trade it to someone for something more valuable to me than the money would be, say some spare GC memory cards or controllers or even promotional signs and stuff that the normal "Collector" might not see so much value in.

Value doesn't always mean monetary. I did a trade on here a while back with Ghost Soldier that was a great example of that. He traded me a copy of Earthbound for a copy of Chiller. There is a significant price difference and rarity difference there, but we both left happy. A while later I ended up trading the Earthbound for a huge stack of Nintendo Power Mags, again with a huge rarity/price difference. As long as both people leave with a smile you nailed the "value".

Jaguar controller. 2$.  After talking to the guy for a while,  he gave me the two genesis consoles and cords for free.  Said that he could not get them working.  I'll take a shot at them.

One of my girls brought this Tabeo E2 tablet home and said it was dead.  Charged it through USB and did a reset of the android system.  Works fine.

I was at a pawn shop and say this sitting on the floor behind the counter.  They said it was broken.  I offered them $15 for it, they accepted.  Picked up the box and it was empty.  Paid $3 for the box.  If anybody wants it for $3 or swap for something, LMK.

So here's my bi-weekly image dump.  I should really post these more often.  It would make these posts a lot less of a wall.

Here's a bunch of stuff I've picked up from Disc Replay since they've opened a store near me

Mortal Kombat Gold was my 100th Dreamcast game.  I'm glad it was a good game and not some shitty sports game.  My favorite grab from the store has to be those 5 Taiwan Cooper Atari 2600 games at the bottom.  They were 50 cents a piece.  Theres something just so charming about early 80's pirate carts.

And everything else for the most part is thrift stuff

Nothing too exciting outside of Harvest Moon and Titties:  the Video Game DoA Extreme Beach Volleyball.  I guess Breath of Fire is pretty cool too.  I don't know, I seem to remember mixed reviews on it back in the day.

All of the PS2 games in this picture were 50% off which made them $1.50 a piece.  Dragon Warrior 8, Final Fantasy X and the Digimon game alone make that a pretty killer score.  The others are just icing on the cake.  Also, I keep buying Leapster games for my kid and she plays them for literally 30 seconds before she gets bored.  I'm thinking 2 and 1/2 might be too young for these games, but NES games are just fine.  Kids are weird.

And then a couple of days later I went back and bought the rest of their 50% off games, which are the Xbox games on top.  The other games and controllers were just random pickups from other stores.  Yoshi's Story is the Million Seller version.  Deus Ex really excited me.  I've heard it's a really fun game.  Only problem is I don't know which game I want to not play to get at that one.  1st world problems...

@Sauza12 Nice pick-ups!

Ah, Sega Rally 2... I much prefer the original.

Nothing too exciting
Super Monkey Ball and GTA:SA are fun.

Titties:  the Video Game DoA Extreme Beach Volleyball.
The one game my XBOX will play, as the disc is almost perfect. My XBOX hates discs otherwise...
Not that I've actually played the game. I just tested the disc up to the menus.

That is what I am interested in. I may never understand the "True" rarity or value of some of the stuff I possess, but if it allows me to obtain more of the stuff I personally have interest in, I do not care. Like you said, as long as it is mutually beneficial, that is what matters.
