^ The Canada part from Stick of Truth was unreal. So freakin funny.
I had to put the controller down because I was laughing so much.

Went to the other Toys "R" Us around me for the deal and...

The deal for blue went up from 80% to 90%, ugh, that always seems to happen to me right after I take advantage.

I know I could wake up in the morning, go stamp around in the big ocean and be back before lunch. And if all these Canadians are truly so polite, how come none of them are ever showing up here bringing donuts?
@TheBoss I like that One Ring you've got there, I kinda have a weakness for LotR stuff.

Yeah, I headed down to the new electronics recycling store again yesterday. I couldn't resist when the guy posted on CL that they were offering discounts on games for the day. It didn't hurt that his prior listing mentioned "Nintendo Power".

Empty Sega Game Gear Super Sonic Sports Pack box. It wasn't in the datebase, but I have all the parts to fill it. Sweet! More Sega CD stuff that I held off on the first time, but had to bite this time.
The CL posting I had seen mentioned gaming mags for $1 each. All mags plus the player's guides and all the other random yummies I found in the box were $20. I paid $40 for the stuff in the first pic.
Notables: FFIII map, Illusion of Gaia map, Dragon Warrior map, Lethal Enforcers poster, Sunsoft Game Time News mailers (doubles FS/FT), and a Tengen Spring 1990 catalog. Look what games they were developing that I want to play. Police Academy?!

And earlier tonight I swung by a buddy's place to hand off some doubles I'd picked up for his collection. He returned the favor:

If anyone needs/wants a DC keyboard, he has quite a few loose.

^OVERSIZED DISPLAY BOXES^ I'm going to keep the SFIV, but would consider trading away the rest.
It's been a great few weeks for local pick-ups, considering the long dry spell.

Yeah buddy! I wish one of the two Toys "R" Us stores near me had that Heroes bundle. I would love to get a Move controller for pretty cheap to start off my PS3 collecting. I wouldn't mind snagging the ICO collection for $5, either.
Those magazines techie snagged remind me so much of my childhood. I wish I could find some of them in the magazine racks at the thrift stores around here. That NES game atlas especially gives me the nostalgia.

Orygun? ha ha ha I have a cousin in the Springfield area, she would like that. As for being polite, I doubt anyone on this site is really at all "Polite". We all seem to give each other a ton of grief, which is fun to watch and take part in. The west coast is a lot less boring to travel to than east, (what with all the corn covering the land for hundreds of miles along the way), and since I have more family moving out that way, I will likely be making some trips in the coming years. If I figure out who lives where, I may just have to meet some of you guys in person if it happens as easily as I would like. I am just happy to see how much the site evolved in my absence over the past few years and I hope I can help keep the site even more active in my participation.

I'm pretty sure the Toys "Я" Us stores here don't have any offers that good...

It is a company-wide clearance, so it should be in every store, but the selection depends on the store. Some have more copies of certain games and accessories than others and those will be the ones clearanced with the colored tags. I learned this trying to pick up the ICO/SotC bundle for PS3 in one store that didn't have it on clearance, but someone else on the site was able to find one clearanced.

either the US Toys R Us has a different owner, or this sale is US only...i just browsed the canada site and there's no mention of any big sales, games are still listed at normal prices
