Finally had some time to take a picture of my northern Canada game hunting at Crabby's store.

Race America, Power Blade, and Galaxy 5000 were gifts from Crabmaster. Contact came from the big game machine known as EB Games, everything else came from Game Quest.

Not pictured is a white PS Vita.

Great trip. Great guy. Great store. Great time! Thanks for having me, Crabby!

Glad to hear you had a good stay. You survived Canada's most dangerous city! Crabmaster is a great guy. He has helped me build my collection immensely and just an all-around good guy. It was cool meeting you in person, fun to see all the great games for the NES that Crabby got in for his store (or for others lol), and a nice selection you grabbed! Princess Tomato, Power Blade, Punch Out, Super Off Road and is that Nobunaga's Ambition I see?

"Fun" fact - I am just 10 NES carts away from not having any more room on the shelf I have dedicated for them. I'm seriously not sure what I'll do after that.

Bought these, and the Vita to go with them, as soon as I could after hearing of the Grim Fandango re-release. A bit impulsive, but I have no regrets. This is a slick little console - the collection tools tell me it's my 29th overall.

It was great meeting you too, Mike. You're right, that's Nobunaga's Ambition second from the top in the right stack. And thanks for The Trooper!

Got some graduation money for graduating from my Masters in Teaching so I went on craigslist and picked up the Intellivision II, The Voice Synthesis, and All the Games for 75 bucks.

decided to make a quick stop to Goodwill after picking up the lot, and Found the Odyssey 2 just sitting all by itself on a random shelf. Picked it up for 15.00. not sure if it works, but the price is worth it, I think.

This has been my first big lot I have picked up in years, so I am pretty happy about this one.

Some random grabs from various retailers over the past couple of weeks.  Not pictured is Hyperdimension Neptunia: Producing Perfection Limited Edition for the Vita.

I think I could take that exact same picture at my house!

$15 is okay for an O^2, it's not unheard of for them to go for that but they can sell for a little more sometimes too. Hopefully it works for you.......actually, maybe not, I don't want to compete with you on the last game I need when we go to PRGE    Wink

Congrats on the degree.

Can't wait for the Convention, need to buy my pass early so I can get in there early.  Maybe this time we can hang out some more for a little bit longer.

And if it doesn't work, I guess it will make a good shelf piece, and don't worry I won't get in the way of anyone and their last game Wink

Going to try and pick up a RCA adapter for the F cable

You're welcome for the Trooper Fleach! I am going to post my scores (mostly from Game Quest) for the past few days:

These were all from a good lot of games that Fleach had brought across the country for Game Quest sad looking NES section, except for the CIB LJN MLB. Crabmaster decided to quit warming his shelf with it and gave it to me. Thanks Crabmaster! I was pretty happy to add Die Hard to my collection. Baseball subset down to 5 left. I learned that Uncharted Waters shares the same Memory Management Controller (MMC5) as Castlevania III and a few other KOEI games. Retron 3 has incompatibility issues with the MMC5. Thankfully my Top Loading NES does not. Can any Retron 5 owners report that they have resolved those issues? Or is that a semi-permanent incompatibility issue?

Next up:

The three NES games were from Game Quest (same lot as first pic is from), the SMS R-Type was from another local collector. The two PSP games were from EB Games. Really enjoy the tactical style of Gungnir and the Capcom Collection sucked me in for a good chunk of gameplay time.

The last of my score was this lot (all from Game Quest):

The Codename: Viper is just the box and manual to complete mine.

Mike, be careful handling that Dragon Fighter, it was wrapped in my unmentionables for safety during the flight. Wink

@Mike: The Retron5 has taken care of the compatibility issues. Old Retrons used NOACs, but this new one is completely different.

Saw the Retron5 at a local store priced at $129.99...Then after looking it up, saw it for $139.99 retail on the HyperKin site. I thought they were getting everybody hyped up behind a $99.99 price tag? Not that it isn't worth what they are asking, it certainly is worth more in my opinion, I could see people dropping a couple hundred for this, I am just confused on why I am seeing so much difference.
