These limited Bulletstorm Nutcrackers were given away in early 2011 to media and reviewers directly from Epic Games.

Sooooooo...what did I get this time? What could possibly be so big that I had to encase it in Spoiler Tags?

It's brand new, and thanks in part to saving up store credit for so long, it cost me all of 4 US Dollars. Smiley

I have no idea. It says February 2007 on the back,  4 USB ports in the front, heavy as hell....

Hey now,

Hey now,

All I ask is that you keep that cat fed.

Best of luck to ya...

'Late

Don't worry Mr. Norch we keep all 5 cats fed the one in the pic is one of 3 of our gaming cats - this one in particular likes taking photos with games.

This place is, without a doubt, a haven for "cat" people.  cat

You guys keep this up, and we'll have to rename this place VGCats.com...  Wink

Finally got a PS3, not sure if I'll ever use it.  With my discount I only paid $35, so not a bad deal right?

Probably about even with my own PS3 thrift find a few weeks before the PS4 dropped, when I got the same machine you did plus two controllers and all the hookups for $50. Thing still works, too... which I find surprising for some reason.

Yep, the initial-release PS3 is pretty hefty. I try to keep mine close to the floor so it won't land on my head when the next big quake hits.

If the Germans had won WW2, well then this would be in the music in 1960, according to Wolfenstein!

It was a pretty tough day at the yard sales today. I was convinced that I wouldn't even see a video game all day, when I decided to take a peek at the permanent yard sale across the street from my place. Turns out, it was a good move, though there is some bad with the good.

As I was walking away, I decided to take one last look around, when I saw these two games:

It was only much later that I noticed that these were PAL versions.

The good news is that, spotting those 2 games helped me find these two games (the latter being my best yard sale find in two years of doing this):

This is actually my second copy of Ikaruga, but how could I ever pass up this game for $5? This find got my collecting juices flowing again after a bit of a lull.

So I found some cords, hooked it up, and it didn't work :/ it powers on but no AV.

Is anybody good at troubleshooting these things?

Seeing as how I see a lot of my fellow RF Geners love their cats:

Phantasy Star 2, and Valkyrie Profile for PSP and the Mario Party 5 were from Game Quest. The three SNES games: Blackthorne, MMX, and Top Gear 2 were from a local seller. The pink cast on Katchoo was courtesy of a local vet.

Last weekend was the big bi-annual outdoor flea market near me and I kind of got a lot.  Like, shit my arms hurt from carrying all of these bags a lot.  If I include prices for everything I'll be here all day, so I'll just say that everything in the pictures below cost me a total of $80.  Beware, here thar be pictures:

I know I said something about prices already, but I just had to mention that No More Heroes 2 was brand new and only cost $5, and Call of Duty Black Ops was $1.25.

That DVD is a 5 disc set covering the 2005 E3 show.  I didn't even know this was a thing, but God damn this should be fun to watch.

That shit's boss.

Finally, all of these PC games were $1 a piece.

Man do I have some scanning to do.
