Got some Pink Floyd records, but thinking about selling them, since I don't like them all that much.

Are you a real person?

Sorry man, I am real, and yes I don't really like Pink Floyd all that much. Smiley Hopefully you won't hold that against me.

Whew. You had me worried that the time we met was just my imagination. But still....not caring for Floyd. Maybe you just need to listen to all of A Momentary Lapse of Reason with headphones or something   Tongue

Actually that song is pretty awesome, I must say, I haven't listened to it in a while but the last time I heard I thought it was genius. So you got me there. Please do not take my words as hate for Floyd because that is definitely not what I am saying, I just prefer other Prog rock bands over them. I think that they have some good solid tunes. But, I would listen to King Crimson or Mahavishnu Orchestra over them any day.

There are still concept albums out there, they just mostly come from bands that aren't necessarily in the public eye as much, with some exceptions.  Both American Idiot and 21st Century Breakdown were concept albums from Green Day and Rush released Clockwork Angels not too long ago.  But enough of that.  Moar video games.

I'm not going to bury the lead this time.  These were awesome.

Phantasy Star was $3 and is up for sale or trade.  Demolition Herby was only $2.25 and is my new rarest game for the 2600.

I also picked all of these up at the same time.  All of the "Collectible" games were 25% off at the thrift store I got these and the other two games.

Looping (Coleco) - $2.25
Subroc (Coleco) - $2.25
Space Fury (Coleco) - $2.25
Krull (2600) - $2.25
Gopher (2600) - $2.25
Jade Empire Special Edition (Xbox) - $3.75
Great Escape (PS2) - $3
Antz Extreme Racing (PS2) - $3
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (GC) - $3
SpongeBob Squarepants the Movie (GC) - $3

Then a few days later I went back to the same thrift because they had another 2600 game or two I was thinking about grabbing, even if they would have been overpriced at $2.25.  Well those games were gone, but they were having a 65% off sale on a bunch of stuff that had been sitting around forever.  I got everything in this picture for 99 cents a piece:

Well, they Dreamcast games and Dynasty Warrior 4 were from a game store I stopped at today, but still.  Nothing Earth shattering, but for 99 cents there aren't too many games I'm going to pass up, especially Xbox games which I think I mentioned before seem to be harder and harder to find around here.

Meddle is my personal favorite, but Animals is fantastic. Whatever happened to concept albums?

Concept albums are alive and well in the world of Metal \m/

Dude, you gotta have something to listen too when you're drunk and playing the 2600. It all works out.

Some of my scores lately:

Been waiting patiently for Crabmaster to be able to sell me the Metal Gear PSP. Had to buy peace walker as well to complete my PSP set.

All from Game Quest. I actually bought a PC game. Also a Gamecube controller extension.

And for the big WiiU release everyone (including  myself) has been waiting for:

Bought from Target. The Wii wheel accessory came free with the game. Will probably never open it.

For some reason can't make a blog it wont take ;-) SO I'll just copy and past the whole thing here:  Zag and my brother are competing now for best thrifter ;-D

Hey everyone!! Well my brother got way too much stuff today to really post in the Small Scores.  I did the driving he told me where he wanted to go and we went.  He didn't sleep a wink last night and I only got 4 hours of sleep.  SO please forgive me as I might ramble.  First things first..I bought two things that were non-game related - I can't buy anything for a while until I get somethings cleared off my plate as they say.  SO my brother got a little raise - BUT we are only thrift shopping now and occasionally pick up a New game title.

Today my brother officially stepped up to the plate - as you all know he has a passion for Big Box PC Games well today as you will see down in the blog more exactly what I am talking about.  WE did pick up a few rares on PC and probably the second rarest game on the 32X which will be $FOR SALE$!!!!

Here is the run down followed by some lovely photos -

Gamers:
-Arc The Lad - PS2 - CIB - $5.00
-World Series Baseball Starring Deion Sanders - 32X - MISS TAGGED as the Genesis Game - $4.95!!!! that is for sale for anyone who needs it please PM Me as I already have a price for it.
-Circus - Atari 2600 - Sears Version - Now we have a CIB - $0.95
-Activision Decathlon - ColecoVision - $1.95

eBay -
-Baseball Stars II - Very Mint & CIB

Thift Store -
*Toy Commander - Dreamcast - $1.00
*San Francisco Rush - Prima Guide - $0.33

Hakuoki: Stories of the Shinsegumi - $60.00 (The only New Thing He Got)

Goodwill -
ALL C64 Titles are Complete!!!- They were marked at $1.99 - but she gave them to us for $0.49 a piece!
-Chuck Yeager's Advanced Flight Trainer
-Clue Master Detective
-Ninja
-Plundered Hearts (Probably my favorite out of the C64 Grabs today)
-Scenery Disk 4
-Trilogy
-Ultimate Wizard
and this Bill (ENGEL762) is A Grab you missed ;-D  - Zorkquest: Assault on Egreth Castle

Then the Kuda Gra (however you spell it) - Big Box PC Galore!
All from a couple of thrift stores - All varied in Prices from $0.98 to $3.98 all are CIB!!
