A rough SP, games, power supply, and case. $20

Capcom controller, SNES P/S, and Doc's N64 wireless controller. $10

I skipped back to the car after buying this set.  Can't believe they only wanted 10 cents.

Bought this for $3.  Just to neat to pass up.  Still can't solve one though.

Looks like the Power Stick only has the NES cord? That's the harder to find one, but missing out on the SNES cord is not going to be fun. Good price for what you found though.

That Rubiks Cube stool is so awesome! Extra game room seat + controller storage. Smiley

Made it down to Game Quest today for another small Sega score:

I was pretty close to giving up on this Goodwill when it finally had some stuff worth buying. Always happy to add more Discworld books to my shelf. I already have a copy of Moving Pictures, but I like this cover a lot more. Somebody might be getting a surprise soon.

My local secret store had some more new stuff that was worth picking up. PSP games are both complete, Final Fantasy Tactics is up for trade or sale as I already have a copy. Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Red was only $5, but I broke my loose Game Boy game rule to get it. Been wanting to play it for a long time. Finally, a Shadowrun art book was only $3. I couldn't turn that down.

I know that feeling man. There are a handful of local stores that I want to abandon, but every once in a while I'll randomly pull some gems out of there.

It's been, like forever, since I posted in here. I have been lurking though. You guys had a pretty awesome run there for awhile....I should have jumped in and commented more. Still seeing some great stuff show up.

Collecting has kinda slowed down the last couple months for me, no real reason, I'm just off doing other things i suppose. This isn't to say I haven't been buying games, just not the collectable sort. bombatomba made me buy a Humble Bundle a few months ago, which caused me to sign up for Steam, which caused me to buy more Humble Bundles and more Steam games. In a short while I've ended up with this:

119 games, 80 of them installed. Thanks bomba, look what you've done  Angry

Almost forever ago, or several weeks ago, I can't remember, Zagnorch sent me and the wife this:

There is a package of Zagg wipes, a Little Mermaid cart which was lovingly wrapped in GTA:SA wrapping paper, a Skylanders bag (where would Zag get that I wonder?) and some Hyrule money. Oh, and there was a calculator too, I wonder what gave him the idea I'd like that?

It's been so long since I've posted in here I wasn't even sure what I had shown off before, there might have been some more stuff too, I know there was a power brick for the older 360 model I found for a dollar or so....The three PC games were less than a dollar each. Virtuoso is sealed, although I think it originally came in a bigger box. Legacy of the Wizard was something I bought because my NES collecting has been so slow this last year. I paid the high price of $3 just so I could get something. Oh for the days of $1 NES tapes.

The laserdisc collection is growing faster than I thought it would. Bought these at my favorite thrift for 10 cents each.

A new guy to the site, bickman2k, sent this stuff to me. We've been trying to figure out what I wanted to buy from him for more than a year now, I settled on this but only because I would have bought about 300 other things from him if I didn't stop somewhere. TI-99/4A games, now I'll be able to make good home financial decisions while managing my budget for personal real estate and adventure.

The Neo Geo Pocket Color games are Metal Slug First Mission and Turf Masters, pretty excited to have a Metal Slug game.

Pick Axe Pete! is a label variation for my Odyssey Two collection. Somewhere I got the idea I should get variations for it when I can, maybe the idea came from Tynstar, you know how he's always saying stuff like, "we should get label variants and it's okay if they're loose because you can't play boxes" or something like that.

That graphics card is the real winner here. It was what I most wanted from bickman. It's a late nineties, Voodoo2, 3D only graphics accelerator. The plan is to put it into my Win 95 machine I've been building up since the late nineties. The best part is this is will be the machines second 3D card. SLI baby. Will write blog when I get to that project.

Got a NES bundle minus the NES from my cousin for free.  It had about 15 games with the highlights being Megaman 3 and TMNT II.

Hey now,

I was pretty close to giving up on this Goodwill when it finally had some stuff worth buying. Always happy to add more Discworld books to my shelf. I already have a copy of Moving Pictures, but I like this cover a lot more. Somebody might be getting a surprise soon.

Been trying to find a second-hand Fantavision for a decent price, myself. I'm willing to max out at $3.99, but every time I find it, they want $4.99 or more. Oh well, on to other scores.

It's been, like forever, since I posted in here. I have been lurking though. You guys had a pretty awesome run there for awhile....I should have jumped in and commented more. Still seeing some great stuff show up.

Oh good, you did get it in. Hope you can find what that calculator's major malfunction is. Also, Radio Shack had the Zagg wipes on clearance, so you've got yourself a bona fide rare collector's item there. Protect it with your life!

ANYway, I thought I'd tease you all with a little preview of my next Seven-Day Score Card blog:

Another trip down to Game Quest today, yielded me a couple harder to find NES games, for my ever growing collection:

Crabby also let me grab the Alex Kidd manual out of a CIB in the store to complete mine, and cut me a deal on all my stuff for grabbing him some grub before I came in. Crabmaster is a swell guy.

Yesterday yielded some nice finds finally.  I was at Goodwill when they opened and saw the Xbox in their display case for $10.99.  It didn't come with anything so I went looking for controllers and cables that likely came with it.  I didn't find any cables but did find a controller in the back of the store for $2.  Also in the display case was Seaman and Shadow Man for the dreamcast for $2 each.  When the girl was ringing me out, there isn't a button to push for 10.99  apparently so she gave it to me for 9.99.  A Bug's Life and Nagano Olympics were from Gamers HQ at $3 a piece.  They need to get more N64 stock in there since I looked through every cart and those were the only two left I didn't have.  Castlevania was from R.U. Game for $8.
