My work schedule (4on, 4 off; 12 hours, 7am to 7pm or vice versa) prevents me from making it to Game Quest for 4 days in a row all the time, and I am working Friday to Monday this weekend. BUT me and my friend have adopted a plan and drafted his wife into helping us get in on the very competitive Garage Sale runs we have in our sleepy northwest Canadian city. Me and my buddy were lamenting to each other that certain people have too much access to great finds and are unchecked in their pursuits so: Let the Garage Sale Wars Prince George 2014 edition, BEGIN!

Wish I was posting something mind blowing but at any rate, this was what my buddies wife scored for me yesterday:

Blades of Steel was CIB, SMB 3 was just the box. Originally the lady wanted $10 each (Even for an empty box!) but managed to let them go for $10 for the pair. Kinda high for Garage sale prices (I think) but I am happy to pay that, just to complete my copies.

Here's a bunch of common NES carts im surprised I didn't have yet.  I needed to rebuy my copy of the glorious Silent Service after giving Duke my boxed copy which, oddly, I regret doing now.

$2 for Conan is nuts! I love the KOTOR games as well, and those are cheap, too. Missing that Silent Service? Of course! To get it back you'll have to sneak in and steal it from under my pillow while I sleep.

You'd better be careful I just might do that...I have your address.

Oh wait, it's a P.O. Box.  Unless you have a really tiny bed I don't think I'm gonna find you there.

$3.99 is always a good deal for KotOR I or II, so long as everything's there and the discs are in good shape.

And congrats on getting the submarine game back in your stack...

Today's grab, loose silent hill for a buck.
The real gems however are these lovely quotes:
"she wants five dollars for the GameCube games. you can't even find them anymore."
And
*looking through a pile of games I stop at home alone Genesis*
"that one is 10 because it's hard to find."

I don't know why, but when I saw the paper towel under the disc, my first thought was that you were getting ready to toast it in the microwave. Guess you don't want it to be chewy, huh?

Scored a black Wii nunchuck for $3, and I got Prince Caspian at a thrift store as a trade out for a cheap Gamecube I had bought that didn't work.  It was only $5 spent either way.

Quick visit to a garage sale got a few random PS1 games, I really only wanted 2-3 items out of the pile but for $6 I just took it all. Almost everything had a case but they were all missing manuals unfortunately. The highlights being Tomba and Road Rash.

I'm more interested in that copy of Jersey Devil. I've wanted that game since I was a kid and its been eluding me for years. Its $15-25 complete.

Yeah, its kind of scratched up with one scratch that you can feel, which is a bad sign. Hopefully a local store can buff it out for me.

Really? Didn't think it was a very desirable title. Its up for grabs if you wouldn't mind a disc only version.
