Time to (attempt to) one-up Razor again!

Not intentionally though - a co-worker (and member of the site) was clearing out some things and gave me some of his back-issues for FREE. I just finally had time to get around to emptying out the bags and seeing what he gave me. The lone issue of Play magazine reminded me of how awesome they were - they had games AND anime packaged with them, and when I finally got enough money together to get a subscription they folded, right around when G4TV folded.

EGM, Expert Gamer, Next Gen, PSM, PSM2, GameNow, GamePro, Game Informer, Tips & Tricks, OPM, PC Gamer, Nintendo Power, OXM, Replay (Amusement Trade Mag), and an internal Babbages catalog all there to represent.

That's why I chose the timing. Just because of the other thread. Wink  I did have plans on checking them tonight, but I could've waited on the post.
I'd rather have all the magazines be in one series like you had, especially a series like NP. Great find at a Value Village man!

Jansolee you sound like me about a year ago, going to new flea markets and eBay splurging. Good luck with future hauls.

I'd appreciate some luck. A nice little lot of games at a yard sale could speed up my collecting significantly. Seems I've been only scoring 1-2 games per week, since I got into this hobby a couple of years back. Never had that big, inexpensive score.

My uncle sold me this for ten bucks. He usually tries to dump old games he comes across on me now that he knows I collect. Feels good knowing I got someone else looking for me. B)

They're in pretty bad shape with labels fallen off but at least they're still in the case. Gonna have fun cleaning these. I guess this starts my 2600 collection.

It's a light. I was just glad it wasn't a Vader cause I already had one. I don't think I want any more different models, I'm good with these two. Smiley
