Wow, lots of good scores. Well I went down to Game Quest yesterday and tried out Crabby's Galaga cab. Good times. Picked up a couple things while I was there:

I WENT OUT AND PURCHASED SOMETHING AT THE FLEA MARKET FOR THE FIRST TIME IN SIX MONTHS.

Both are basically brand new and were in storage for years. Picked them up for $110.

Hey now,

I WENT OUT AND PURCHASED SOMETHING AT THE FLEA MARKET FOR THE FIRST TIME IN SIX MONTHS.

Nupes is gonna blow an aneurysm of joy when he sees your TI pickup.

Meanwhile: special thanks to the 413th Technician for reminding me to catch up on the latest Skylanders Swap Force variants / exclusives:

- Lightcore Enchanted Star Strike (Wally World)

- Nitro Freeze Blade (Tar-Jay)

- Easter theme Trigger Happy, Punk Shock, and Fryno from G*m*St*p

Still tryin' to find that Scarlet Ninjini...  Sad

Elsewhere, I found the trio of PS3 titles shown above for $1.99 a pop.

And, finally, a little something to decorate the door to my future room of doom, should I actually overcome my overwhelming laziness and get my shiznit together:

Nope. I'm good. While it is a very nice find, I already have a TI 99/4A:

That's just like my TI, which I have from childhood. I looked at an expansion box for one, but they are still a bit pricey. Maybe one will turn up cheap some day.

I wasn't expecting to get this today.

There's a boring little story to this acquisition.  Last year I made a bunch of bead sprite magnets for a local retro store.  Because of life's little distractions I never got around to stopping by the store to collect and pretty much forgot all about the deal.

Smash cut to this afternoon the lovely wife wanted to go for a walk at the park across the street from that store and then it hit me that hey... those guys owe me money!  91 monies to be exact!

So I cruised into the store and saw this Turbo for sale for $100.  So basically I paid $9 for this guy Smiley

They were thinking that kids sit on the floor less than 3 feet away from the TV screen.

They were thinking marketing ploy. One controller port = multitap $. Short controller cords = controller extensions $. It does kinda suck though when I want to play TurboDuo and I need  to drag the whole console right beside me. I get annoyed for a split second, until I remember...I own a freakin' TurboDuo! Seriously though, sweet score! Awesome to have a game console with its box, even if the box has some random kids face on it. lol
