Okay, so they're eBay winnings I got last week.

But if you post in the eBay thread you get much fewer congratulations for whatever you pick up.
Rumor has it the podcast guys don't even check that thread Tongue

There was another customer (Jonny) at Game Quest that I know. (he works at the last decent Eb Games in P.G.) He was going to buy Fire Emblem. Upon discussion and hearing that I had never played a Fire Emblem before (crazy. I know.), Jonny decided that I should own it instead of him. Crabmaster further had me sold, when he asked me: "Do you like Final Fantasy Tactics?" "Yes! I love that game!", I replied. "Well, Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance is like that, but better."

Bold words, but I'm convinced. In Crabmaster I trust. He usually makes good suggestions for my specific likes.

You're not the only one sir - I've never played Fire Emblem, ever. I've had 2 copies of Fire Emblem sold from under me when I expressed interest in them from various different local sellers, both of whom sold them on eBay since they knew I was a collector and thought they'd get more money on eBay if it was something I expressed a desire for.

Kind of wanted to share these, but didn't feel they deserved a thread. Some cool Gearbox stuff

One seller's in prison, the other's store went out of business. Karma.

Well, this is an awesome haul I found by getting to go on a road trip today.

I got the Tenchu, Bust a Move 2, and THPS 3 all at CD Tradepost, my first stop. My next stop was my local Goodwill, where I found my 2nd Tiffany Aching book, just resting on top of a pile of books in a shopping cart. This find was oddly similar to when I found The Wee Free Men, open the door, look on the closest bookshelf and bam, there it is facing me already. The 3 button Genesis controller was a Salvation Army find, I bought it only because I didn't have a 3 button.

I went on a road trip which was pretty close to being 24k gold. I stopped at the local store I used to work at. They're celebrating their 3rd anniversary, so they had buy 2 get 1 free. I overpaid on that copy of Devil Summoner, but its a first print and the last game I needed for my PS2 Shin Megami Tensei subset. I got Kartia for free to offset the overpay, and my 2nd copy of Grandia II for the DC. I sold my 1st disc only copy to WildBil so he could fill his case.

This was the same store. I've been wanting Planescape books since I first played Torment over a decade ago. These are the first two books I can add to my tabletop collection, and I went ahead and added in Queen of The Spiders to my AD&D set.

I got the Nintendo booklet at Manhattan's Goodwill, it holds GBA carts. I also grabbed a couple Sierra games from it, Hunter Hunted and Rama. The D&D novel I got at the local bookstore which is my secret hunting ground up there. Above I said this haul was almost 24k gold because at my secret spot I was too early to grab a box filled with boxed Nintendo games, including what I know is at least a boxed Super Castlevania IV. I left my contact information so they can call when its ready.

Picked up LOZ OOT Guides Prima (replacement for the one he destroyed) and the Nintendo Version.  The guy from NA we bought them from threw in a Nintendo Power since the corner was dinged on the Nintendo Version Smiley that was really awesome of him.  Then my brother surprised me with an eBay purchase he won and was the only bidder...not perfect but got it at a great price - ISS Deluxe for SNES.
