Hey now!

Speaking of birthdays, I celebrated my latest complete circuit around the local stellar entity by doing what I do best: thrifting!

Here's some reading material I picked up for $1.58 all told:

- Two Nintendo Power back issues

- Prima strats for the first three Spyro games

- Versus Metal Gear Solid Perfect Guide: It's actually far from perfect, as the bonus posters have been removed, and is barely held together with a big helping of scotch tape and sheer willpower. Fortunately, all the pages are intact, accounted for, and are reasonably legible.

A few other things I found:

- Titanium heavy DS, $18.99

- Four packs of GTA San Andreas wrapping paper, $0.79 each

Whelp, that's it for now. But before I go, I'd like to do a l'il shout-out to all the followers of the '80s-to-early-'90s hip-hop scene. Ladies and Gentlemen, Zagnorch Productions presents:

Yo, GTA Wraps! with Heavy DS and da Game Boyz

Ya know what I'm sayin'?

Glad you picked up some games for the playthroughs. You're really going to dig Magical Starsign!

Thanks everyone!

Good job that watermark is on that picture. I was about to list this on eBay as my own!

I had to make sure that no one attempted to counterfeit this one...

Had a pretty good day today. First of all...
<--- Pre-ordered this back in July and I have been on tenterhooks waiting for this for the last week or so.

Secondly, I got a replacement Windwaker HD LE (the original came with a damaged figurine), and it came with a Ganondorf mug, personalised with my name and the store's logo.

Finally, some PS3 promo discs.

Okay, so they're eBay winnings I got last week. Puppeteer and Mass Effect 3. I also barely missed out on a Lightning Returns promo (and still cry myself to sleep  :'( ).

And congrats duke.

The MGS V Ground Zeroes and  SMG 2, were retail from Walmart. The rest I acquired from Crabmasters lovely little store called Game Quest.

There was another customer (Jonny) at Game Quest that I know. (he works at the last decent Eb Games in P.G.) He was going to buy Fire Emblem. Upon discussion and hearing that I had never played a Fire Emblem before (crazy. I know.), Jonny decided that I should own it instead of him. Crabmaster further had me sold, when he asked me: "Do you like Final Fantasy Tactics?" "Yes! I love that game!", I replied. "Well, Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance is like that, but better."

Bold words, but I'm convinced. In Crabmaster I trust. He usually makes good suggestions for my specific likes.
