@Shadow: I was surprised that someone would try to use the disc on a modded console. Thanks again for the information. Force Commander has been called "the worst Star Wars Game" so it does have that going for it.

Worst? Well, I'd have to see about that...
As for the disc, that doesn't surprise me in the least actually. People were trying to use them to restore their console back to "default" after modding them due to the crackdown Microsoft had where a ton of consoles were banned. There was false information being sent around that using those discs would fix the banned consoles.

I got this in the mail the other day from GrayGhost81. The kids and even my wife are already having a lot of fun with it. But don't worry, the Banana will be breaking out this coral pink gem to crush some gamage as well.

Picked up a regular copy of Bravely Default today, because it looks like the Collector's Edition could end up being quite valuable.

That's interesting Addicted. Did they ever make a disc that would allow you to lock a new HDD to the system after swapping?

What do you mean by "lock" the HDD to the system? Do you mean transfer the DRM? If so, you can do that on Microsoft's website, but it's a once-per-year deal.

No. I have an original Xbox sitting around that has a dead HDD. I wondered if there was ever a simple way to replace the drive.

It's been a couple weeks since I've contributed.  Here's my latest junk all from Value Villages around town.

Nothing too fancy.  Super common NES games.

DSi I picked up for $6.  It didn't come with a charger so I don't know if it works yet, but for $6 I couldn't say no.

There are too many versions of Street Fighter 2.  I thought for sure I didn't have this one already.  I was wrong.

I finally got my act together to take a picture of these games. Color a Dinosaur came from Banana and Dracula came from Duke. Thanks for helping me scratch a couple more games off my list. Smiley

Oh, I have no clue on the original Xbox. I never had to do anything to mine and stayed away from the Media Center mods.

Grabbed Scribblenauts from Craigslist for $5 and the book for $15. Now I have another goal this year. Break one of the records.

I forgot about that. OK, everyone who wants to watch Crabby and I duke it out over Color-o-rama in June tune into to Major League Gaming or ESPN. We will also be on live streaming on Twitch and Youtube. Everyone is welcome to head down to Game Quest to witness this throw down. Two men. Two dinosaurs. A limited colour palate. One winner!
