Cursed Mountain is pretty good if you like Survival Horror type games.

So I've heard. I typically have mixed feelings about the genre. I wasn't much of a Resident Evil fan, but liked loved Alan Wake. Granted that's not as "horror" as RE but it is that suspenseful type of game. For the price, I couldn't say no.

It's been fairly dry at the Goodwills lately, but I did find these things before I had to go into work.  99 cents each isn't bad.  There was the not one, not two, not three, but four, count them FOUR DDR Dance Pad mats.  I left them there, where they belong.

Quite a haul over this past weekend. At least in terms of quantity. Nothing rare.

I had a great collecting day yesterday as I picked up a game I was looking for and some cool stuff happened to arrive in the mail on the same day. "I love it when a plan comes together."

I found the Starflight locally. Didn't realize until I got it home that it was missing the manual, which is pretty important for this game. If anyone has one, let me know. The Famicom games were from sensaiman. Baltron is a shmup, Flying Heroes is sort of an Arkanoid/fire rescue combo game and Battle City is a really fun tank battle game.

The Princess Tomato was a belated Valentine's Day gift from my wonderful wife (aka. Mrs. Cliffhanger). She asked me what I might like in a certain price range for V-Day and boy did she deliver. Well, only 8 licensed titles to go. Smiley

And yet another package from senseiman in Japan!

An empty box for my Super Famicom, so it's got a home now!  And a couple loose carts, Parodius Da! and Akumajō Special: Boku Dracula-kun.  Parodius being a parody of the Gradius series and Boku Dracula-kun is a parody of Castlevania series.

Assassin's Creed IV is a gimme from a coworker. P4 Golden is from Leaptrade. The first (and probably last) physical Vita game I've gotten.

Good choice on P4!  One of the best (if not the best) RPG's I've played in a long time

@Duke: Thanks! Zanac was a gift from my wife. I love the FDS games you picked up. I always wanted to try Zelda 2 on the FDS.

@nupoile: Wing Commander 3! Excellent choice. If you ever find the film can version (Premiere Edition) I highly recommend it.

I'd like to continue the Famicom love  around here with some more pick ups:

Ducktales was $7.00
The Skylander was a special edition from Best Buy.
Pizza Pop! is an enjoyable platformer from Senseiman.
Over Horizon quickly became one of my favorite games on the Famicom.
Seirei Densetsu Lickle is some porn game that nobody likes.  Wink

I started clearing out the basement boxes to make room for a play room for my son. I found some interesting items I'll post here.

Got these Super Action Controllers yesterday from my local video store and about 15 Colecovision manuals. Basically free, but I game him 5 bucks for the Coke he sold me instead of the normal price. Smiley

And apparently Football, since one came with an overlay. I also have a roller controller to play Slither and a driving wheel to play Turbo. Man, Colecovision did a horrible job of making games compatible with their extra modules.
