Toys R Us is doing padded envelopes for Skylanders as well, and they're always damaged. Know the feeling.

Finally received my Collector's Edition of Bravely Default from Amazon today, which was of course shipped in a bubble mailer and was half-crushed when it got to me. Sure love the fact that nearly everything I order through the mail these days is damaged when it gets to me.

Ah, that sucks.  I've read about that happening to just about everybody who ordered one from Amazon.  Many people are getting partial refunds by complaining to Amazon customer service.

Just about to write them and explain the situation. I'd love it if they'd just offer a $0.99 option to "mail in a box." I'm a Prime member, and I'd gladly pay the extra buck to upgrade from a bubble mailer.

Sorry to hear about the crushing. I really want this game, but don't want to buy the regular edition. Nintendo needs to produce some more stock.

Received the Final Fantasy XIII-III - Lightning Returns Collector's Edition from SquareEnix yesterday. Really nice package, only available through their online store. It's nice enough to have convinced me to pre-order their other exclusive CE package for the X/X-2 HD remake.

Nice! The Square-Enix store only collector's editions are pretty nice. I pre-ordered the FF X/X-2 one as well.

Hey now,

I just picked up what just might be the greatest freakin' game of its era. It won PSExtreme's Gold X Award for being "one of the sleeper hits of '96... and experience that no action platform gamer should miss." And EGM called it "stunning... original... (this game) climbs back to the top... check it out!"

Oh, I will, EGM... I WILL.

With accolades (heh) like these, it's gotta be the most awesome experience in the history of electronic entertainment! But which game am I referring to, you may wonder? Why, none other than...

Needless to say, I can't wait to fire this bad boy up and give it a go! It's destined to be the best four bucks I've ever spent!

And then, when I'm done with this, I'm gonna grab the upcoming sequel as soon as it launches:

  Grin

Oh, and I picked up a few other things that weren't nearly as cool as Bubsy 3D:

- CIB Dead or Alive 2, Jet Grind Radio, and Resident Evil Code Veronics for Dreamcast, $3.99 each

- CIB Nobunga's Ambition: Iron Triangle for PS2, $1.99

- CIB Saints Row for 360, $4.99 $3.99

This needs to live on for at least another page.

I don't know if I am more amazed by the tattoo or that you named your kid so that you could call him Link.

LOL. I actually got the name from one of the main characters from a Fox show, Prison Break, that was on years ago. Getting to call him Link was a nice bonus. But I'd always wanted to get this done, I just finally did it.

No offense taken Retro, its my calf. The picture is a little vague.
