I don't have a CDI, but it was free and I've never seen anything for it in the wild, so I grabbed it.

That's pretty much how I ended up with my copy of CDi Pinball.

I love mine, I ended up snagging a CiB one a while back, cost an arm and half a leg.  But it beats fooling around with finding the right channel for the original one to work Cheesy

The game that made me buy a 3DS came out on Friday, but I totally forgot to pre-order the Collector's Edition. So Saturday morning I rushed out to this.

After trading in Fire Emblem: Awakening (just couldn't get into that game), and a $20 gift card I score Bravely Default for $5.

Cry

How do you like Bravely?  I've seen it has received several good reviews, and a console can always use a Square RPG.

Sorry for not liking Fire Emblem. I just don't like strategy RPGs. Advance Wars did nothing for me too back in the day.

I'm really enjoying Bravely Default. I feel like I'm playing an SNES Final Fantasy or an early Dragon Quest while playing this game. The job system and risk vs reward mechanic are very fun.

Basically it's a modern game that feels retro.

You have to play it using headphones or plugged into speakers because the music is amazing.

I've been playing Bravely Default as well, and I agree, it's been awesome so far.  I grew up on 16-bit RPGs, so I love these old school throwbacks.

I am pretty happy with it. My only complaint would be the short controller cords. Need extensions!

Finally received my Collector's Edition of Bravely Default from Amazon today, which was of course shipped in a bubble mailer and was half-crushed when it got to me. Sure love the fact that nearly everything I order through the mail these days is damaged when it gets to me.

And of course they're not responsible for any damage that occurred during shipping.

Ah, that sucks.  I've read about that happening to just about everybody who ordered one from Amazon.  Many people are getting partial refunds by complaining to Amazon customer service.
