I was going a little stir crazy so went out of town to do some thrifting.

Paid $13 for this lot.  Gonna have to buff the Sonic, the DC was not liking it.

Went to a little book store with my girlfriend and found the 2 games.  Yoshi was $5, she likes puzzle games and this was for her.  Looking for a copy of D for Saturn for her.   The GB cart is a 96 in 1 and has some good games on it $6.

Big thanks to Senseiman for the Famicom.  Played Parodius all morning.  Debating if I should give it the Retrobright treatment.  Any suggestions or recommendations?

Good stuff. If you decide to Retrobright it you will lose the stickers, and I don't know of any place to get replacements, so it may just be worth a little regular cleanup.

Bickman: That is a steal!

Just a small grab for me today. This copy looked great, and the price was right at $10.

Nice grab on PaRappa the Rapper. Great game, and if decide to sell it, it has great value.

@russlyman
Nice, I really like what you did with that desk.  I'm planning on moving soon and will want to set up my own game room.  Maybe I should look into doing something like that.

Yeah was pretty easy. Just lay down some bigger area pieces first than add the cool smaller ones. I still have to added a few coats of polyurethane over it to give it a more glossy look and protect it.

My package from Senseiman finally arrived today:

Very happy to have the Eastern cousin to go with my top loading NES. Don't they make a good pair?

My birthday was the 25th of last month, so I did end up receiving a few video games and a couple related items.  That happened sporadically throughout the month, since some of this stuff came from a community-wide yard sale my sister went to early in the month (the N64 controller and the two Plug-N-Plays) and a few trips she made to Goodwill:

Then, I got this surprise from our very own Single Banana, though it wasn't until almost a week after it arrived that I actually checked my P.O. box to find them  Tongue :

You have absolutely no idea how much I really, really, REALLY appreciate that, Banana.  It's been a pretty crappy couple of months, and that has definitely brightened things up a bit for me.   Cheesy
