Damn, SirPsycho. Jealous of that Panzer Dragoon Saga and Dragonforce.

I grabbed this small lot from Game Quest yesterday:

Hey now,

My wife picked this up last night....

My kids LOVE this game and they have almost all the characters.  They were most excited about the Mickey though.

Looks like another call to child protective services is in order. Some people never learn.

That's a creepy ass Luigi sock puppet

You want really creepy, look no further than...

After staring into his vacant eyes, my soul now belongs to him.

All right, back to business. I didn't too too much thrifting this week, what with an ankle problem gimping me out and all.

Not this kind of gimped out.

But I managed to endure the pain and limited mobility to uncover the following goodies:

CIB games, $1.95 each:

- Super Collapse! 3

- Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning

- Nightmare Before Christmas: Oogie's Revenge

- Pokemon Colosseum
Bonuc Disc

I am also ten million rupees richer.

Now if I could only get to Hyrule, I could retire right the hell now.

I also picked up a little something I've wanted just for the hell of it:

Ever since I first read about this grim-n-gritty take on Bomberman, I've been on the lookout for it. 'Course, as ludicrous as the notion of a serious-business Bomberman game is, it coulda been a lot worse...

Had a great afternoon of hunting, considering I took a half-day for my birthday.  And I did find some actual thrift store goodness, since things have been so dry lately.

First off, the lady gave this bad boy to me for my birthday.  Considering that she is far from a gamer, good call!

Officially licensed Doctor Who sonic screwdriver Wii remote.  I have yet to test it, but it's just so DAMN cool to me!  It appears that myself and Wempster both have great gift givers in our lives.

Expanded my NES collection with the help of singlebanana:

Thrift store searches from last weekend:

Front Page Sports Football (the original release) SEALED, Combat Mission II for the PC, Donkey Kong County for the SNES promo VHS, the infamously bad Bubsy 3D, and The Art of Suikoden V set.  Very cool.

A buddy called me today from a thrift store to let me know of these.  I told him to grab them, considering the $0.50 each tags.  I am only keeping 'I've Got Your Number', if anyone else is interested in expanding their Odyssey2 collection for cheap.

Matchmaker, Showdown, Armored, Football, Speedway (x2), Dynasty, Blockout, Invaders, P.T. Barnum, Freedom Fighters, Nimble Numbers Ned.

And when I went to pick them up, he also sold a couple of "come to Butthead" titles for cheap:

Altered Beast was a toss in so I'll toss it forward in a sale/trade, if mentioned. *SNES titles from CDWorld.

...and today's thrifts.

Not too impressive, but the Mummy/Frankenstein PC attached set is cool (starring Tim Curry) and the Hot Wheels is the 'House of the Dead III' issue from 2003.

First time in a new store so I try not to lowball and insult, but I was able to toss offers.  Some needed NES games and another Eliminator.  He had the IHRA game tagged at 1 penny, mostly as a joke, but I grabbed it.  And I really like those old rental cases, which he gave me.  Not pictured are some cool DS cases which are drying after a good washing.

Not a bad deal on this lot.  I love me some Metal Slug.  The Chrono Cross discs are FS/FT, if someone is okay with a loose set.

And the non-gaming related mention:

A 50th Anniversary Godzilla action figures set from 2004 - Japanese Bandai release.  These things are fetching prime dollar/yen, and I am amazed that I found it local.  Who donated this and do they have anymore goodies for me?  I wish the box was in better shape, but for just a few dollars I cannot complain at all.  Great display piece for an admitted Godzilla fan boy!  Related DVDs found at CDWorld.

Looks like hunting local does reveal some great finds sometimes.

I still need some art books for my Suikoden collection. I have the pre-order art book for 4, and that's it.

Another day, another anime-jrpg. Monster Hunter is from Leaptrade, Trinity Universe from Gamestop.

Just when I think I've picked up something pretty unusual, Zagnorch posts the same thing just before I do.   Thanks pal.
