Quick few pick ups. Both PS3 games and NFS were part of my B2G1 w/my Gamestop renewal. Sniper 2 was just a "hey, I saved $17 on one of those PS3 games, I should pretend I spent it anyway and buy another" moment. Shanghai II was a pawn store grab for $1 and The Last Remnant was a find by my brother who decided he wasn't crazy about it so I paid him the $7 he paid. Win/Win.

Haven't posted in a while. My finds the last few weeks:

Day the Earth Stood Still is an OOP ComicCon-only release, has a gorgeous cover design and, most importantly, doesn't include the disaster of a remake along with the incomparable original. $15.

Phantom Hourglass is a replacement for the copy I sold a few years ago. Super complete, looks new. $15.

Phantasy Star 4 guide is from eBay. Has some creasing issues on the cover, but overall it's actually in pretty nice shape. $18 shipped.

Ocarina of Time 3D is semi-HTF, which is the only reason I got it. $10.

Felt like I HAD to buy this when I found it, even with the fairly horrible conition. I regretted it almost immediately when I saw that I didn't even get that great of a deal. $25, which is what copies in much nicer shape go for.

Sealed big-box, bought solely to resell. $10.

I'd been searching for a reasonably priced, nice replacement box for Secret of Mana for so long that it had become a pseudo Holy Grail for me. Found this beauty on eBay, and a steal of a price. $20.

Also a replacement copy from eBay. My biggest regret is that I didn't buy everything this seller had the moment he listed it. This is in fantastic shape, as were each of the other 20 or so games that he listed. $27 shipped.

My favorite find of this past weekend. I've been lusting after this thing for months but never pulled the $199 trigger. Found this at a pawn shop, in immaculate shape, with everything included. The sound it pumps out is STAGGERING. $140.

My kids LOVE this game and they have almost all the characters.  They were most excited about the Mickey though.

First craigslist pickup of the year! Paid $140, possibly a little high, but fair. So many Pokemons!

All right, now it's on to the stuff I know a certain someone will  totally dig--

Fresh scores coming as soon I build up a decent stack of 'em to photograph. All I'll say is, Nupoile better brace himself...

Oh, I'll be fine. I mean, as long as it's not calculators or something.

Errr... um, uhhh... I, ummm--

*points left* HOLY CRAP, IT'S STEVE LARGENT AND SHAUN ALEXANDER GIVING FREE AUTOGRAPHS!!!

All right, now that he's distracted, check these bad boys out (Quickly, now!):

From left to right:

- TI BA-II Plus Advanced Business Analyst, $3.99

- TI-83 Plus, $5.99

- HP 17B II business calc, $7.29

Cheese it, guys, he's comin' back--

OH, SH--

*BOLT*

Those are some pretty neat calculators there....I don't know where all that other stuff came from. Who is this Sean Alex....who? And distracting me with Seahawks memorabilia, I admit to enjoying watching the games but.....ah, Zag, such the kidder.

In completely unrelated news, I found some pennants I've had since I was a kid I wanted to show off.

I did find some actual game related stuff. That thrift store I go to 'cause I like to throw them money, had their monthly half off sale, I threw them $2 for these 5 games.

And since I know old Seahawks fandom and loose PC games aren't enough to get everyone excited, my wife made a little something. Lately she has been making toy animals out of felt and giving them to some of our little relatives. She asked me a few days ago what she should make next.

In hand-puppet form, I present to you, its-a-Loo-ee-gee!

I did just picked up my dream cart off Ebay....NHL 2014 for Genesis!

Its the NHL 94 Engine with the NHL 14 rosters.  It looks and plays great.  I bought it from a guy on Ebay and we have exchanged several emails but he won't tell me how it was made or if he created the cart himself from the ROM that is on NHL 94.com

Go Blackhawks!

-ferris182

I just made a custom case for my NHL 14 Genesis cart.  I just made some custom artwork and swapped out an old Genesis game's artwork.  Take a look!
