Rather than post a bunch of pictures of my latest finds, I made a blog. It includes exciting gifts from Zagnorch, in depth Game Gear action, and Mark Knopfler!

Not a bad game for the small part at the beginning I played. Plus it was only like $8

Truer words were never spoken
I've picked up a several new items lately that I'm pretty psyched about. A few weeks back I got these bad boys:

I need to track down a link cable for the Time Crisis II cabs still. That SEGA GT game was probably the worst thing to move I've ever dealt with. What a pain in the butt. Its a lot of fun now that its settled and running, but holy crap it almost spent the night on the sidewalk downtown.
And more recently I picked up these 4 machines:

BEWARE!! Talking with Singlebanana will spread his deadly pinball pathogen. Take caution and protect yourself.
Seriously though he is so passionate about pins that I get excited just listening to him. He's been helping me look around my area for a while now and I was finally able to snap up a couple machines I was happy with at a price I was VERY happy to pay. Both the arcade cabs and pins need some TLC, but I'm very much looking forward to learning about them and eventually playing them. Also noticed an old Bosconian machine hiding in the loading area of the place I got the pinballs from so I'm hoping to own that in the near future as well

As I told Crabby, the Flight 2000 pin is a highly sought after machine. It has a very difficult multiball, which wasn't very common in very early 80's and late 70's machines. At that time, Stern games like this one were sold under the name Stern Electronics, which closed in 1984. Stern then got back in the pinball business in 1999 and is the leading distributor/creator of games today. Stern games of this era have a great feel and I think you're really going to enjoy it.
Counterforce is a much more open machine and was designed by Ed Krynski, who was the "mack daddy" of designers in the EM era. I've never played this one, but I imagine it has very similar gameplay and sounds of an EM machine. Gottlieb was a little slow to get into the electronics game and it pretty much cost them their business in 1983. Still many of these System 80s are highly sought after by collectors. And as always, very cool artwork by Gordon Morison.

This arrived a few days after Christmas, courtesy of a late gift from my brother that he got off of eBay:

The reason it's taken me so long to actually post this is, two days after Christmas, I lost my job
and the past couple of weeks have been filled with pretty much nothing but looking for another job. So, unfortunately, until I find another one and have a steady paycheck again, no more game hunting for me.
Oh, well, I've been here before, so I know I'll make it through.

That's one hell of a score. Assuming you didn't have a 2600 or any games before this score, that's a great starter kit. If you start enjoying it, I'd be happy to recommend some games once you get back on your feet. Sorry to hear about your job, but keep the positive outlook.

Monies tighter than ever, so very slow for me, but I did manage to get Wayne's World and Sunset Riders for SNES finally. I'm under 100 to go now.

I got pretty good deals on everything pictured. Didn't need to win the "Canadian lottery", lol.

Wait, there's an existing Atari Game Center that has the plastic shell intact, without damage?
