For what it's worth, I do own Swap Force, and it's really good, but I didn't play it until AFTER I wrote that Blog Entry...Anyway, PHANTOM CYNDER? Seriously? I need to find that one. What can I say? I like Dragons. Also, as I recall, I was the first one to write about Skylanders on my Blog. And back then, you said you might not even make the jump, Zagnorch.

FWIW, I don't have Thumper or Whirlwind...
I think my official count was around 60 different packs, and I know Zag is outpacing that. I haven't opened mine up because I can still play them inside the packaging, and I haven't quite figured out how I want to display them yet... However, your setup there is pretty impressive. Have you thought about getting one of the Battle Arenas to display them?
No, that thought hadn't even crossed my mind. I doubt any of them would hold 31 anyway.
The packaging for Battle Arena boasts an ability to hold up to 16 Skylanders figures. Well, 16 figures
comfortably
, anyway.
Now they've put out a playset/storage case that can hold up to 25 of the bad boys:
The $75.00 asking price is a bit steep to me, though...
Quote
Anyway...the fact is, I was only able to get Dark Spyro because the 3DS Version was on clearance. Yeah, that's right. I wanted it bad enough to buy the whole damn package. XD
I enjoyed the 3DS version of
Spyro's Adventure
. My only problems were getting the portal and 3DS to communicate with each other properly during initial setup, and you can't readily switch your figures. Otherwise, it was pretty good.
Quote
As I recall, there is also a Legendary Spyro, which I would also love to have. I also know that a new Spyro was recently released too.
The Legendary Spyro was part of the first Legendary 3-pack, which was a Toys R Us exclusive. I haven't seen it in a while, though.

Smalls Scores Part 3: The Skylanding
Yeah, we really should just start a new thread for Skylanders. Speaking of Skylanders, there's a new one being released in early January at GameStop. I'm thinking it's Springtime Trigger Happy.
You had me at Trigger Happy.

She's likely part of the new wave that's just coming out. BTW she's transparent, even!

I hope you don't like dragons the same way Spyro/Cynder ship-ficcers like dragons. You read a few of those, and you'll be afraid to leave the house... forever. Still, they're not quite as bad as the Kaos-Glumshanks pairings--

... or so I've heard.

It was all downhill the moment I bought that Target-salvage starter set at the local Goodwill...

Do you know who illustrated the artwork? The look and style is rather familiar...

Everyone is blowing it up today. That is a great deal on the Miracle, Zag. I still need to find a foot pedal for mine at some point.

It took some tough decisions, but I managed to create a top 5 of the games I found in 2013:

Well, I got a deal on a 32" HDTV for my gameroom. It was $100 and I'm sitting on all kinds of Christmas and birthday money so I couldn't pass it up. Better late to the party than never, I guess. It'll be a nice upgrade from the 20" SD LCD I use in their now. Playing modern games on that little screen from several feet away was starting to hurt my eyes.

Hey now,
Time for me to wind up my small scores for the year by showing you what I picked up today:

From the Mountain View and Campbell Rasputin's stores ($1.95 each unless noted otherwise):
- CIB
Ratchet & Clank
: I'm starting to pick up cheap original-release PS2 games to replace my Greatest Hits releases. Never thought it'd come to this point, but there you go...
- CIB
Shadow Hearts
- Red Dead Revolver
(no manual)
- Sealed
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles
- Sealed
Mercury Meltdown Remix
- Sealed
Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror / SOCOM Navy Seals Fireteam Bravo
PSP Dual Pack, $3.95
- CIB
Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time
, $5.95
Aaaand I picked up the following for a little over $14 at the local Savers:
- 9
GameInformer
back issues: These have become so common and so cheap, I buy them on reflex now. I'm pretty sure I have at least three copies of each issue from the last three years...
- CIB
Lego Indiana Jones / Kung Fu Panda
for 360
- CIB
Assassin's Creed
and
The Darkness
for PS3
- Mattel
Classic Football
re-release handheld game
Needless to say, I can't wait 'til January 2nd, the first day of the thrifting year. I even have that day off, which means I'll probably hit every thrift in the south bay to see what's new... sort of. Needless to say, I can hardly wait!
Catch y'all next year...

One last small score post in 2013 for me as well. Getting my puzzle fix

Then went to Game Quest after visiting with family today and grabbed Clockwork Knight off of Crabby for $20. Decided to stop at Target after that to grab a copy of Wind Waker, since I had traded in my gamecube copy to Game Quest, and didn't have one when Fleach announced Wind Waker community playthrough!!!!

Got Mario & Luigi from Target as well. on sale for $15 and Kid Icarus was $10
Happy New Year!!! in a bit.

2014 is off to a good start! Got this lot for a great deal.
Stealth is C B, the rest are CIB. I'm only interested in the cartridges so if anyone wants the boxes or manuals let me know.
Clu Clu Land was $9... Not too bad.
