Hey now,
Time for me to reveal my latest haul of vidya goodness, including a most...
miraculous score.

Hint, hint...Again, you win at the thrifts. A Wii U gamepad for $7?
?
This was most likely one of those instances where the thrift-- in this instance, the Milpitas Savers-- didn't quite know what it had. So, with the help of my filled and soon-to-expire discount stamp pass, I took advantage of their oversight. Fortunately, it wasn't one of those "no exchange" electronics, so I could've exchanged it for something else if it didn't work. Problem with that is, Milpitas is pretty out of the way for me. But like I said, it just needed a bit of cleaning, and it's good to go.
Speakin' of Wii U:

Oh good, you got the remastered
DuckTales game for the only home console it should have been allowed to play on. The original played on a Nintendo platform, and the remaster should have been a Nintendo exclusive. Hate to break it to all the owners of the PS3 or 360 releases, but you possess phony bootleg knockoffs as far as I'm concerned. The cold, hard truth hurts sometimes, you know? But don't despair, because I'd be more than happy to take them off your hands and dispose of them in a proper manner, just like I do with all the Pokemon stuff I encounter. If you need to know where to send them, just PM me.
Speaking of Pokemon:
With my acquisition of Dark Spyro, I now own 31 Skylanders! Zagnorch be proud? Only time will tell.
Proud? I dunno 'bout that. I didn't see a mention at all of
Skylanders Swap Force in your Games of the Year blog. Probably 'cuz you were too busy fawning over the latest freakin'
Pokemon 3DS releases, instead.
Still, 31
Skylanders figs is a pretty good start, but do you plan to catch 'em all? Hey, wait a minute...
Speaking of
Skylanders-- whoah, that's three "speaking of" segues in a row-- I'm that much closer to completing my main-line
Swap Force collection with Phantom Cynder and Countdown, as you can see below:

Also picked up:
- Konami
TMNT 3: Shredder's Last Stand handheld
- CitiGeeks 3DS XL anti-glare screen cover kit
Then there's the notable non-vidya pick-ups I alluded to in my last post:

- HP 10B II (left) and 12C (right) business/financial calculators: as you can see, Nupoile is in total awe over these finds.
But if you think
that's a big deal, wait 'til ya see what I found at the Goodwill near work while on lunch break:

- Miracle Piano set, $39.99: I was passing by the electronics shelf, when I noticed a keyboard sporting a gold-colored seal that looked suspiciously like Nintendo's Seal of Quality... which is exactly what I saw, obviously. The cheap side of me was concerned over the asking price, but another part of me figured the odds of finding this again with the guide, cartridge, and hookups for the same asking price or better were very remote, so I picked this up and lugged it over to the checkout counter. I was three minutes late clocking back in from lunch, but by golly it was worth it. Needless to say, I can't wait to fire this bad boy up and give it a whirl...
