Went out hunting around town with GamerNick on friday, stopped in to a shop we haven't visited for a while and found a few goodies for my collection.
Saga Frontier 2 and Breath of Fire IV on PS1, and Grandia II on PS2.

He had a lot of goodies but you by far got the best.  Still jealous of the BOF4 :-)

Fokakis those magazines were from the Capitol Hill Value Village.  I haven't scored anything from the Tukwila store in quite some time.

Well, you still rule with those scores you have been getting anyways.  The stores around here have been lackluster lately.

Seriously. If it wasn't for the generosity of others i don't think i would have gotten half of what i picked up this year...

Nintendo Power Issues 115 thru 150 (minus 148).  Got the lot for $6.99 at Value Village.

Hey now,

Didn't they stop making Twinkies?  Is the idea now, "Well, make your own?"

You mean you haven't heard about "The Sweetest Comeback in the History of Ever (TM)"?

Where have you been the last few months?

The Clow Deck is really awesome. Should you ever want to part with it for whatever reason, PM me. I'd love to own it. Smiley

Well, I did pick it up with the intent to flip it. Perhaps some sort of deal could be struck... but it'll hafta wait a little while. In the meantime, I'll keep it aside for ya...

Nintendo Power Issues 115 thru 150 (minus 148).  Got the lot for $6.99 at Value Village.

I've never encountered such a large lot of NPs at Savers, myself. One time I found about 20 of 'em for $0.29 a pop. Still a pretty good deal all around, but not quite as good as your grab.

BTW a certain big lot of other stuff should be hitting your doorstep any day now.  Wink

All right, let's get down to it:

- CIB ICO and Tomb Raider Legend for PS2, $3.49 each
- CIB Vigilante 8: 2nd Offense and Twisted Metal III (Greatest Hits) for PS1, $2.99 each
- CIB TransFormers: War for Cybertron for PS3, $3.49
- Super Mario All-Stars & Super Mario World SNES cart, $1.99
- Pipe Dream NES cart, $1.99
- Secrets of the PlayStation2 guide, $0.99

- 2K Essentials Collection Bioshock/Borderlands/XCOM: Enemy Unknown set for PS3, $14.99: I think I jinxed myself with my boasting about all the Target-salvage games I was gonna pick up this holiday season, 'cuz I've found hardly any of note. So I decided to cut to the chase, and go right to the source. Now I can finally see what the big deal with Bioshock is all about... although I've heard the XBox 360 version is better.

- NES carts, $1.99 each:
  - Legendary Wings with manual
  - Spy Hunter with manual
  - Lode Runner
  - Wizards & Warriors
  - 1942
: I finally found a copy that works properly on my machine.

- Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons choose-your-own-adventure story book, $0.99: Was hoping to find the Oracle of Ages choose-your-adventure book, but struck out.  Sad

Speaking of Legend of Zelda: I could no longer deny the fact that I'm part of RF Generation's failing-eyesight contingent, and picked this up:

Weird thing is, I don't know if I should open this up and play with it, or try to trade it for a blue 3DS XL and a physical, IRL, takes-up-3-dimensional-space copy of Link Between Worlds. Needless to say, I already have a Nerf Armor case on order...

There's a reason for that...I know a couple guys who patrol the stores around here daily.  There's a group on facebook, "Seattle Retro Gamers" if you're interested in getting to know more local guys.   It's a good group sorta like rfgen.  No rif raf is tolerated, just a good group of humble collectors (with a sense of humor)

What? I thought we were all rif raf? Maybe I need to go somewhere else....

That was a pretty good set of Nintendo Powers you found though. There has been a good bit of cool posts in small scores lately. Zagnorch got a calculator, did you see that? And what about that LCD monitor for the PS2 johnblade put up, thats cool too. Even Izret got something, even if we're not good enough to see pictures of what he got.

I've only found a couple things lately. I got this webcam,

which is only notable because of this warning:

OR DEATH???!!! A webcam?! Microsoft must make the meanest webcams. Pop a cap in ya.

All my Black Friday shopping consisted of buying that webcam of death and this one game from Amazon.

The Elder Scrolls Anthology. Every game in the series, including all the add-ons, for $25.

It's actually sort of an early Christmas present for my wife. Not that I haven't spent a bit of time playing Morrowind and Oblivion on the xbox\360 but my wife has spent most of 300 hours on those two games together. We just got a new PC, and we all know that PC gaming is the mast....uh.....I mean, we needed a new game that could push the hardware a bit. I've been being a good husband and testing out Skyrim, to make sure it works, so if you don't see me much for a while....

I stopped in my new local store, and I think I'm going to have to shop there after every paycheck now.

Here's why. I paid $15 for ActRaiser 2, $16 for Crystalis, and $18 for Mega Man 2. Sadly, none of them have their manuals. I am now looking for them and anybody that has any to spare get in touch with me please!

@SirPsycho Still, $18 for Mega Man 2 with a box is a no brainer.  And I gotta get me a copy of Act Raiser one day.  Good deals.

My recent aquisitions:

From the one and only, the extraordinary, exciting, exuberant, eccentric, and existential Zaggy Norchelton

A bunch of perler beads to keep me happy for awhile.  And speaking of Mega Man, I'm working on a new perler project.  I'll post pictures in my thread when it's done.

Also, this finally came!

The Game Chasers Season 1 DVD!  They had an Indie Go-go campaign a few months ago and if you donated at the $30 level they'd send you a copy of the DVD and a random NES game.

Keep the scores coming in.  I know it's the holiday season, but smokers don't quit smoking when they buy everyone gifts, so why should you quit buying up boxes of useless s*** and posting them online?

I too received a package from the overly generous Zagnorch this holiday season. I really apprecate the nice gesture and was surprised to find the Krull card deck that he scored several weeks ago. Now this deck can rest easily beside my Krull board game. Thank you Zagnorch for the awesome gifts! You're a great guy, I don't care what the FBI says. Smiley

Nice score SirPsycho! Those boxes are in nice condition and the prices can't be beat. Hopefully you can those manuals without too much trouble.

I did just picked up my dream cart off Ebay....NHL 2014 for Genesis!

Its the NHL 94 Engine with the NHL 14 rosters.  It looks and plays great.  I bought it from a guy on Ebay and we have exchanged several emails but he won't tell me how it was made or if he created the cart himself from the ROM that is on NHL 94.com

Go Blackhawks!

That looks awesome!  What he did was possibly ROM dump it onto a genesis board and made a label.  It looks very cool though and done really well.
